CHAPTER SIXTY-FIVE
AUGUST 30, 12 NOON
ARIZONA STATE PRISON—FLORENCE
On the day of Bob’s release, Gene McLain went down to Florence to drive him back to Phoenix.
He asks Bob, “What are you going to do now?”
He states that he would like to remain in Phoenix, thinks that it is a pretty nice town with possible job opportunities as it is growing so fast.
I tell him my friend, Mary O at the Legal Eagle, is looking for a dishwasher. It may be a way to start his new life in Phoenix. I know it’s not much of a job, but a start with money coming in regularly.
He takes the job upon meeting Mary O and is on his way to becoming a valuable and respected member of the community.
I check on him every few days to see how he is doing.
