I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, my heart pounding in my chest, hoping I could catch up with them in time, I don’t know why I had to explain myself but I felt it was the right thing to do, I couldn’t just let them misunderstand me this way.
I finally caught up to the Thorn brothers, and I placed my hand on my waist, trying to catch my breath. "Wait, please don't go!" I begged, trying to sound calm. “I have to talk to you guys!”
