Aurora’s POV
I felt the blood drain from my face as the head maid's words pierced my heart. "That jar you broke, Aurora, was Alpha Stone's most precious possession." My mind went blank as I processed the severity of my mistake. I knew I was dead. Tears blurred my eyes as I stood there, frozen in fear.
“I didn’t mean to break it, I am sorry, I don’t know how it happened… I saw something and…” she cut my words short.
“Save whatever you want to say! I don’t want to hear it! What do you expect me to do? Take the blame for your foolish mistakes, you should have known better while handling the alpha’s belongings but you were so stupid, that you forgot your duties and I have done irreversible damage!” The head maid screamed at me and my body shook.
