Aurora’s POV
I was relieved to be back at school after the short break from the school festival. I had managed to avoid the Thorn brothers for the rest of the break, and I was hoping to keep it that way. The memories of their past cruelty still lingered in my mind, but I was determined not to let it bother me and focus on my studies.
As I walked into school, I saw Tonia waiting for me by the lockers. She came over to give me a hug and chuckled at how she hugged me. “How are you feeling now? I hope you are much better,” she asked
