Aurora’s POV
I sat at my desk, writing briskly as I tried to finish my assignment. I was determined to get it done before I left school, knowing how busy I would be once I got back to the pack house. Just as I was getting into the zone, I heard a voice behind me.
"Hey, Rory, what are you doing?" Tonia asked, plopping down in the chair next to me.
“Rory?” I asked and chuckled and she laughed shortly.
“I just figured the nickname just now and I think it fits you perfectly, so tell me, what are you doing? You seem serious.”
"Just trying to finish my assignment," I replied, not looking up from my book.
Tonia nodded and leaned in to see what I was working on. "Oh, I remember this one. It's a tough one. Do you need any help?"
