Aurora’s POV
I lay in the hospital bed, my heart heavy with emotion, as the Thorn brothers' faces contorted in shock and anger. I knew they were just as shocked as I was, never in my wildest dreams did I think Tonia could ever do this to me, I thought she was a friend and a sister I never grew up with, she made me feel loved and seen even though it was just a lie to her.
"How could she do this?" Rowan growled, his fists clenched. "Tonia was supposed to be your friend, Aurora. We trusted her."
Phoenix's eyes narrowed. "We thought she had your back. But I guess we were all wrong."
Zephyr's voice was laced with disgust. "I s as m too stunned to know what to say right now." He shook his head, anger evident in his tone.
