I paced back and forth in our living room, my brothers watching me with concern. The fireplace, once a warm gathering spot, now felt like a prison. I couldn’t believe this! How could Tonia do this to Aurora after we all thought she was the one real friend Aurora had, I should have looked into her from the very start and now she made everyone know! Everyone knows about the mate bond and a slight mistake can make our father hurt her!
"We can't just sit here and do nothing," I growled, frustration boiling over. “I know Aurora asked us to do nothing but I can’t just sit down and do nothing! They hurt our girl!” I was beyond furious at this point.
