Amelia looks over at her clock to see there was only three minutes left before the alarm goes off. She groans wondering why she always wakes up before the alarm. What's the use even putting an alarm on? She decides to just stand up and take a shower. She walks towards the bathroom and opens the door. A yawn leaves her lips as she looks in the mirror. Her red hair looked like it was attacked by a raccoon while her puffy eyes looked like she cried all night. If only that was true. Late night reading is something she should stop doing so much.   She opens the faucet and waits for it to fill. She raises her hands over her head to stretch out. She looks down and her eyes widen when she sees the water now floating in the air. She brings her hands down causing some of the water to fall into the sink and on the ground. “What the hell?” she looks into the mirror. “I should sleep more. I'm beginning to hallucinate,” she mumbles to herself.  She turns the faucet off and washes her face before putting the shower on. She strips and steps in. She stands under the water letting it soak her body. Her red hair started turning dark red as she looks at her reflection, the hot water burns her back causing her to flinch away. She looks at her reflection with a pout. Her eyes widen again when she sees her eyes glowing.  She shakes her head and rubs her eyes. She opens them and looks again. “Okay, I need eight hours of sleep tonight. I'm going crazy now.” She climbs out after finishing. She dries off and walks into her room. Her morning started with her hallucinating s**t. She frowns when she walks past the calender on her wall.  She turns her head back and a scream leaves her lips when she realizes what the day was. It was her birthday! The door flies open and she let's our another scream covering herself with her towel. “Would you knock dad!” she yells at the man. He immediately closes the door again and asks from the other end, “What's wrong honey? Why did you scream?” “It's my birthday!” The man sighs with relief and couldn't help but let out a chickle. “Well, happy birthday honey. Finish up and come down. I got a present for you,” he tells her.  “Okay.” The grin grows wider on Amelia's lips. It's her birthday which meant that tonight she'll throw the biggest party ever. It is of course her eighteenth birthday. How could she forget? She quickly finishes up putting on her uniform. It was a red plaid skirt, a white shirt and blue pullover. Her signature color. She blow dries her hair and puts her make-up on. She's the birthday girl she has to look the cutest today.  She smiles widely in the mirror before making her way out of her room and down the steps. Her father was a lawyer and he had his own law firm while her mom was a doctor and she was the director of the local hospital, so it wasn't a surprise that they got to live like royalty in this huge mansion. She makes it to the living room to see her parents already there. “There's my little girl!” Amelia rolls her eyes at her dad. “Hey dad.”   “Happy birthday, baby. How are you feeling today?” her mom, Lana asks her.  “I'm okay mom.” Lana looks at her husband with a smile before looking back at Amelia. “I'm happy because we got a surprise for you, baby.” Amelia frowns looking at them before her eyes widen. “Is it?” Lana takes the keys out of her hand and hands them to her daughter. “Yes baby. Go look!” She didn't have to tell Amelia twice. She was out of the door and into the driveway. A scream leaves her lips when she looks at the red Bentley in her driveway. She presses the unlock button just to make sure it was the car. The car goes off and another scream leaves the girl's lips.  “It's my car!” The excitement was too much, she couldn't wait to arrive at school with this beauty. “Do you like it, honey?” Hunter asks his daughter. “Duh!” she answers him. She turns to her parents.  “Can I take it for a spin real quick? I promise to be back, please!” Hunter looks at his wife before nodding. Amelia squeals and runs towards the car. She opens the door and climbs in. The seats were black and red, it was leather seats. She puts the keys in and starts the engine which roars. She smiles brightly. She reverses out of the driveway and drives towards the gate that's already open. She drives out of the gates and on to the road. They lift in the a secluded place where only ten house were. So, when she got on to the road she flied with high speed on it.   Amelia smiles as she takes a sharp turn. There weren't any cars around so she just drived recklessly how she normally would if her friends were with her. She smiles pressing further on the gas. If this car could go 180km/h then it would be awesome.  She takes another turn but she steps hard on the brakes when another car comes out of nowhere almost hitting her new Bentley. Amelia groans and climbs out of her car. “Watch where you're freaking going, dumbass!” she yells out to the boy.  The guy climbs out of his Ford Capri and takes his glasses off. “Princess, you need to stop driving recklessly before you kill someone,” he tells her. Amelia rolls her eyes when she realizes who it is. Matthew Lewis.  She rolls her eyes at the boy. He was in her class and he pretends like he knows everything. He's a certified know-it-all. “Whatever.” She turns her back on the guy and walks back to her car. “Drive safely!” She shows him a middle finger and climbs in. He chuckles as he watch her drive off. She still had a temper like no other. He remembers how that temper would always make him laugh. He missed those days.                                                                                               * * *   Amelia drives into school with her new car. The roof was off showing everyone who's car it was. The moment she climbed out of her car she was bombarded by her friends wishing her a birthday and asking about her car. She was the center of attention. She walks with a smile with her friends towards the school. Her whole body screamed confidence.   The dark skinned girl looks at the redhead who's currently walking into the school. “Are you sure about this?” she asks the boy beside her. “Yes. We have to do it tonight before they come for her,” Matt tells the girl. She looks at him with a sigh. She was hoping to just stay at home.  “We were able to escape them, why can't she? Isn't she like us?” “Yes but you know why Blake,” Matt says. “But do we really have to go to her party tonight?” Blake whines. “Yes. It's not just us anymore Blake. She's apart of this too. She needs to know.”   “Whatever. But if this plan of yours goes wrong then it's on you Lewis.” Blake rolls her eyes and walks towards the school. Matt shakes his head just when the dark-haired boy stops beside him. “How the hell did we end up in such a situation? And with them?” he asks Matt. Matthew looks at the dark-haired boy.  “I have no idea, Kyle. I really don't. Let's just get to class.”   The bell rings and the two walks into the school. The two boys makes it into homeroom within five minutes, just to see Blake in the corner already glaring at the redhead who's seated in the middle of the class, surrounded by her fellow cheerleaders. Matthew looks at Kyle who just shrugs and walks over to his seat.  Amelia looks out in front of her when the teacher walks in with his briefcase and laptop bag. “Settle down class. Let's make this as quick as possible,” he says placing his briefcase down. The door opens and Ms Ford walks in holding the register in her hand.  “I bet a you hundred bucks that Ms Ford and Mr Smith screwed last night,” Kaylee, Amelia's best friend, says to her. The redhead shakes her head looking at her friend with absolute disbelief. “You have a dirty mind, Kaylee,” she tells the blonde. Kaylee just shrugs with a smirk on her lips. “You forgot this in my classroom yesterday,” Ms Ford says. Amelia raises an eyebrow. What was Mr Smith doing in Ms Ford's classroom? Amelia turns looking at Kaylee who just sends her a wink.  The girl turns back to the front. “Thank you for bringing it to me, Cher—I mean, Ms Ford.” The blonde woman walks back out of the room and cheers erupt into the class. “Way to go, Mr Smith!” Justin, the quarterback yells out causing his teammates to cheer with him.  The man glares at Justin. “Another word from you and you'll get detention Mr Johnson.” Amelia looks over at Justin who chuckles. He makes eye contact with her and sends a her wink. Amelia rolls her eyes turning her head back to the front.  “If you don't sleep with him, then I will,” Katie says. Amelia looks at her fellow cheerleader who's staring at Justin. “Go ahead. I seriously don't mind,” Amelia whispers back. Justin was too much of a tool for her any way. “Ms Kingsley just because it's your birthday today does not mean I can't give you detention.” Amelia sends the man a bright smile and he looks back down at the register in his hand.   “What did I tell you? He definitely screwed Ms Ford. He would've given you detention no matter what you did. She must've been good.” “Kaylee, you're disgusting.” She shrugs with a smile and leans back in her seat. Amelia looks to her side to see Blake Cooper glaring at her. She frowns at the girl. Blake rolls her eyes and looks out the window. What the hell did she ever do to the girl?   When Mr smith is done with the register he hands out our permission slips for the trip next week to Canada. Amelia was pretty excited to go since they were going to her dream University.  The bell immediately rings after that signalling their first period of the day. “So, what the plans for tonight?” Kaylee asks Amelia as they make it down the hall. “Well my parents gave me permission to have a huge party but only if I don't wreck the house. They won't be there so make sure to bring extra booze, okay?” Katie and Kaylee looks at each other with huge smirks. “Sure girl. See you later.”  Amelia watch as they walk towards their lockers. She smiles brightly. Tonight will definitely be a night to remember.
