Amelia looks at her mom as her dad fills the car with their bags. They were going out for the night so Amelia can throw her little party. She promised not to wreck the house while they were gone but she didn't have to worry since the help will be there to clean up the mess. “You're coming back tomorrow morning, right?”   Lana nods her head. “Yes honey. We did promise you we'll spend time tommorow, didn't we?” Lana asks her daughter. “Yeah. But make sure to be here by eleven because the party might go on till 8am,” Amelia teases. “Then I hope when we're back the house will be clean,” Hunter says from the car. “That's why the help is there,” Amelia tells her father. “Marie isn't going to do all the work. You'll have to pitch in, okay?” her mother says. Amelia was a spoilt girl but she really doesn't know where she got it. Both her parents were humble and down to earth people.   “Okay. I'll help Marie. Now, go, I have to finish,” Amelia says while gesturing for them to go. “Oh, so we're getting kicked out of our own house now. It's okay,” Lana says. She gives her daughter one last hug before joining her husband at the car.  “Have fun, sweetheart and we love you!”  “Love you too!” The car starts and they drive towards the gate. Amelia waits for the car to be out of the gate to run into the house. It was only five o'clock now which meant in a few hours the party will begin. She walks into the house to see everyone already busy.   “Miss Amelia, where do you want these?” The redhead looks over at the elderly woman who's holding a bucket of ice. “Place it somewhere outside. It'll have better use there,” she tells the woman.  She walks into the kitchen to see the waitresses and waiters busy making the snacks. “Hey, make sure that the chocolate fountain is placed near the pool where the air vent is, okay?” Amelia grins widely. Maybe she was a bit of a b***h but who could blame her. She was the spoilt princess of the Hunter and Lana Kingsley. She walks out of the kitchen and back into the living room. Tonight will be a success like no other.  “Miss Amelia, you need to finish getting ready before guests arrive.” Amelia looks down at her attire only now realizing that she was in sweatpants. No one could see her like this. “Thank you, Marie. I'll be back but make sure everyone does their jobs correctly. Everything must be perfect for tonight,” she says.  She runs up the stairs towards her bedroom on the third floor. The door of her room slams shut just when the water in her fish bowl splashes on the ground. Amelia frowns looking at the now wet floor. Someone will just have to clean it up otherwise it'll stain and she wasn't in the mood for that.  She takes a quick shower in her en-suite bathroom. When she's done she runs into her walk-in closet with a huge smile. She'll finally be able to put on the dress she's been waiting to put on for months now. “The time has finally arrived.” She takes the red dress off the hanger and places it on the couch. There were small red rhinestones around the middle. It was a mid thigh dress, perfect for the occasion.   When she's in the dress she couldn't help but admire herself in the mirror. It was a perfect fit. It showed off her curves in the right ways and her bust looked breathtaking. “Now for the finishing touches.” The girl blowdries her hair and curls the ends. She smooths the dress out as she stands in front of the mirror. She looked like a modern day princess. Which she was.   “Miss Amelia, the guests have arrived. Are you finished yet?” Amelia puts on her heels and walks out of the closet towards the door. She pulls it open to see Marie on the other side. “Has Kaylee arrived yet?” “Yes. She is in the backyard with all the others, Miss.” She thanks the woman and she walks out of the room. “Marie can you clean up in my room. I don't know what happened but the water in my fishbowl splashed on to the ground,” she tells the woman. “Of course.”   Amelia walks down the stairs and she turns towards the backyard. Amelia smiles when she sees the amount of people in the backyard. They were really looking forward to this party. “Here's the birthday girl.” The redheads rolls her eyes when she hears his voice.  “Justin, what are you doing here? I didn't remember inviting you,” she tells him. He holds up the glass in his hand. “Oh really? Then why does your eyes say the opposite.” Justin sends her a wink and the girl turns around walking off. She wasn't in the mood for him.  “Hey birthday girl!” Kaylee cheers a wide smile on her lips. She was wearing a black skater skirt and a tank top. “Hey. Don't you look hot.” Kaylee flips her hair over her shoulder. “Thank you. So do you birthday girl. You look hot! How did you get this dress? And how much was it?”  Amelia slightly curties with a grin. “Thank you. Well, you see if you have a rich dad and he loves you, you can get anything you wanted,” Amelia informs the girl. Kaylee chuckles nodding her head in agreement. Music suddenly blasts through the backyard causing Amelia to look around to see who's going to be the DJ for the night. “Is that Kyle Mitchell?” Kaylee asks the redhead girl. She definitely does not remember inviting him at all. “Why the hell is he here?” Amelia asks. She didn't need losers messing up her party. This was the biggest night of her life. “I don't know and I don't care. Just enjoy the party. It's all about you, okay? Ignore him.” Amelia nods her and let's Kaylee drag her off. Matt looks over at the girl who's getting dragged around by her best friend. He looks over at his best friend who's standing on the podium. He was the DJ for the night because if anything happens to night he needed to distract everyone with the music. “Can we just grab her and get this whole thing over with?” Matt looks over at the girl who's now beside him. “Wow, you clean up nice,” he compliments when he sees her in jeans and a bralette. Blake flips her hair over her shoulder. “Thank you.” “And no. We have to wait Blake. If we do it now they'll realize that the birthday girl is gone and that is not what we want, okay? This needs to happen in a subtle manner,” he tells the girl. Blake rolls her eyes and takes a sip of her drink.   “Blake you need to be sober otherwise this won't work.” “Tell that to your best friend,” Blake says pointing to Kyle who's now drinking a whole bottle of vodka. “Seriously?” He walks over to the boy causing Blake to laugh. She turns to see Amelia looking at her. She gives the girl a fake smile before rolling her eyes.   Amelia frowns watching at the girl walks off. “Now why is she here?” Kaylee asks Amelia.  “I don't know. . .”   “But I see she brought the hunk with her,” Kaylee says pointing at Matthew Lewis who's talking to Kyle on the podium. “If you think he's hot then there's something seriously wrong with you,” Amelia tells her. “Matthew and ‘hot’ doesn't deserve to be in the same sentence.”   “You're just mad he ditched you in third grade to hang out with Kyle and that girl Blake,” Kaylee says. Amelia rolls her eyes and walks over to the tabke with the drinks. It was true that she's still mad at him. But how could she not be? Out of the blue he chooses to be friends with the losers of the school instead of her. Amelia takes a deep breath before exhaling. She picks up a red cup and gulps down the contents which was cherry vodka. She turns and looks at the crowd. Now she just needs to enjoy her night. It's her birthday after all.                                                                                                                        ***   When the clocked stricked 9o'clock more people started to stream into the redhead's house. Amelia only then noticed that it was only people from school who showed up early while people from town decided to show up this late. Half the kids were already drunk lying on the grass passed out.   “We need more drinks outside,” Amelia tells the two boys in the kitchen. They nod and immediately takes the two buckets full of alcohol outside. Amelia sighs shaking her head when she feels a headache starting to form. Looks like the party was already giving her a headache.   She walks over to the cupboard and takes out the small bottle of Tylenol. She grabs the bottle water and drinks it with the Tylenol. She sighs placing the bottle back on the counter. “Ah!” the pain starts to increase causing the girl to fall down on her knees. Another scream leaves her lips and just then the water in the sink starts to rise while the gas flames from the stove starts to grow.   The door slams open and Matthew immediately runs towards the girl with Blake following behind her. “Blake, kind of need your help here now,” Matthew says looking at the girl. Blake sighs and crouches down in front of the girl who's grunting in pain. Blake touches the girl's shoulder causing her to look up into her now red glowing eyes. “Amelia, just relax. Calm down and feel the pain in your head start to decrease slowly,” Blake whispers. “This is just a case of bad headaches.” She pulls her hand away from the girl. The water falls on to the ground and the fire goes back to normal. Matthew looks over at the two girls.  “We need to get her out of here,” Matt says. “If she started getting the headaches then they must already know. Get Kyle, we need to go now!” Blake nods and runs out of the room.   Matt crouches down in front of the redhead who's staring at the floor in front of her. He reaches for her shoulder. “Hey Amelia, we need to go.” Amelia looks up and immediately jerks away from the boy.  “Don't touch me.” She stands up from the ground and dusts off her dress and her now red knees. “I think you need to leave,” she says. She didn't know what happened but she knew it definitely wasn't normal.  “No, we need to leave. Before they get here.”  “Before who gets here?” The door of the kitchen bursts open. “We got a problem,” Blake says with wide eyes. “They're already here.” Kyle runs in after the girl almost tripping over his feet.  “We need to go now!” Matt nod and looks at the girl. She was stubborn, she wasn't going to willingly leave with them. “Kyle, take her outside to the car, Blake and I will hold them off. Make sure to strap her in,” Matt says to the boy. Amelia glares at the boy. “I'm standing right here.” Kyle nods and grabs the bottle on the counter. He walks over the girl and pulls her into him. “You might feel a bit dizzy but make sure to hydrate,” he says handing her the bottle. He looks at the two. “Bye!” he yells out and the two disappears out of the kitchen. “What are we going to do?” “You're going to make everyone forgets about what they saw tonight because this might be ugly,” he says. Blake groans but follows the boy out the kitchen.    The other two appears outside at the black van causing Amelia stumbles forward. Everything was spinning around her now. “Hydrate,” he says. Amelia opens the bottle and gulps the water down. She turns to the boy with wide eyes.  “How in the hell did we just appear outside?” she asks him. “We were just. . .are you a magician? No, Alien!”  “Neither. But stay here please. I'm going to go help the other two,” he says. He suddenly disappears right in front of her causing her to stumble back. Her eyes were wide, she couldn't believe what was happening. She looks at the water in her hand. What the hell was inside this?
