A day before the death
a child, young and lazy, clinging to her frightened mother's arms, slowly dozing off as the mother continued to rush off, ripping through the trees and bushes. the women with a sleepy child had a single thought through her mind. save Lily! she had to, it was her promise to the world when she was faced with that horrid prophecy. the panic starting to steeling in her heavy heart, her breathing heavier as she tucked her child behind a big group of bushes, securing her from the eyes of any predators, either human or animals. she knew who was after her baby. many mortals and wizards were after her 4 year old daughter, Lily. but she was partially to blame for that. After all, she carried the prophecy to her community of witches, confessing how Lily's birth was the marking of their downfall. it wasn't just the witches either, normal, common people would die on the day Lily into inselth the dagger she touched, caressed so loving as a baby. the tears kept streaming as she turned her back on her child, knowing she is to never see her again. with a sharp and quick breath she started to sprint away again, her left hand clinging to her cloak as she disappeared from the sight of the clueless child.
