I spotted her right away. Standing with the girl CC had spent all morning with. The one who had told me where I could find Crystal this morning. I knew it was my Crystal that she was talking about. I had seen them in line together after I had bumped into her at Starbucks.
She didn't know it then, but I had gone around the corner of the building to smoke a cig and watched as she crossed the road.
She was now looking at me with a panicked expression. She looked... Terrified to see me and it made my heart skip a beat. It hurt to see her so scared. I had really done a job on her...
