When we pulled up into the school's parking lot, nothing went at all like I had imagined it would. Kayden turned off the car, pulled the keys from the ignition and got out, still silent. I followed suit, shutting my door and as soon as I did he turned his back to me, locking the car before he immediately began to walk off. A whole bunch of people were calling his name from a car parked only a few rows away. He greeted them cheerfully, grabbing a blonde chick into his arms. That had me seething. What a prick. I knew he was a bad boy. But from the way he first greeted me, offered me a ride and teased me about his name, he seemed to have a good soul. I caught a glimpse of it, I could of swore that I did. As soon as he said that I'd be hearing his name around, his whole demeanor changed.
