That night the atmosphere at dinner was slightly awkward still and not even half way into the meal Mizuki had a phone call from home and had to leave before dinner was finished, Ichirou had been hoping to get him alone so he could apologize to him about what had happened earlier in the day between them when he had let his jealousy and anger get the best of him .The day after that they hadn't gotten to see each other at school due to more exam prep.the day after that Mizuki had come over for dinner again and his and Ichirou's conversations had evolved more naturally they seemed less awkward towards one another ,If Yujirou and Ren noticed anything different between the two teens sitting at their table fighting over who was the best fighter in some video game they didn't show it outwardly. Over the past week Ichirou had been working pretty hard at keeping his life balanced but he couldn't deny all the emotional strain had been taking its toll on him, just two days ago he had blown up in a jealous fit and had all but r***d Mizuki he was still feeling guilty over how he had treated him even though Mizuki seemed unaware. "Hey Ren why didn't you tell me that Miho became part of your family when I came here for dinner that day after we bumped into you at the market" Ichirou waited for Ren to answer him while he stole his favorite sushi roll off Mizuki's plate." Oh did she? I knew she looked familiar but I couldn't remember where I saw her, she's Mizuki's new sister right?" he was looking between Ichirou and Mizuki with an unreadable look " Yeah that girl's bad news you know she's pretty sick I broke up with her the same day I met Mizuki actually" he spoke in a carefree tone but Ichirou felt anything but carefree " What! you actually broke up with the schools so called dream girlfriend" Yujirou appeared to really be shocked" I am not that big a playboy I don't cheat on my partner and I have morals" Ichirou's voice was extra sulky as he turned from his uncle in distaste " I don't deny I've had more than my fair share of lovers but I can't help it if they throw themselves at me it's easier to accept than decline anyways I am always careful and safe and I never stay with the same person more than a handful of times unless they want an exclusive relationship and I sure wasn't really ready for one of those before this year anyways" he sat there waiting for one of the three to say something about his life style but they didn't " so why did you break up with her then" Ren looked extremely curious leaning forward as to not miss a single word he said " I told her she could have ANYTHING she wanted for her birthday and she asks for a threesome with her brother who apparently has a crush on me I thought it was disgusting not because it was having s*x with another man but that threesome would be i****t " Ichirou truly looked disgusted his uncle laughed loudly " your poor pride must have been crushed of all things she wanted it was something you couldn't buy and she wanted an intimate relationship with her own blood relation poor baby no wonder you were so angry that day" Ichirou didn't find it funny so he sat there sulking. Mizuki decided to leave after supper "here let me walk with you since I am heading in the same direction" Ichirou had offered wanting to spend more time with Ichirou Mizuki had waited politely by the door while Ichirou said his goodbyes. He had not failed to notice the way Ren had looked at them so when he knew Ichirou wouldn't see he stuck his tongue out at his cousin who chuckled softly then gave his cousin a thumbs up. Ren might not have been aware how close they had become while they had dinner but Ichirou offering to walk him was something that wouldn't go unnoticed, Mizuki didn't care though he was happy to have this time with Ichirou.

Ichirou had been fighting the impulse to touch Mizuki all night and he would keep his hands to himself until he knew he was safe from prying eyes, he knew his uncle and his lover were watching them from their window so he bent down to retie his shoe " keep walking I'll catch up " he reassure Mizuki who had stopped to look back at him smiling at him he then stood up looked over his shoulder and stuck his tongue out at the two lovers who were all but hanging out their open window it looked like they had started to bicker playfully with each other he chuckled to himself and hurried to catch up to Mizuki. " Hey Mizuki wanna come over to the studio for a bit I want to show you something " Ichirou's hesitant voice broke through the silence that had fallen between them making Mizuki start " sure I don't mind" Ichirou smiled he had figured he would say yes but he didn't want to make any assumption where Mizuki was involved. They walked back towards the building and into the studio lighting a low light lamp Ichirou walked over to a cabinet " You can take a seat on the sofa if you like Mizuki" Ichirou grabbed a folder and walked over to the sofa the folder was titled "Brothers Temptation" the title had made his editor stare at him he had thought it was an incestuous story but he was wrong "this is what I was working on when you and I met here" as he handed the folder to Mizuki he waited for the younger boy to flip through it " wow hey this character! she looks a little like Miho and is that Kousuke?" Mizuki had recognized the two right away "yeah since I was inspired by what happened with her to make this manga but the funny thing is that I had decided to add another brother in this he is the brother the character ends up falling in love with" this was the closest Ichirou could come to confessing to Mizuki he could feel his hands sweating he was nervous he had never been nervous with any of the girls he'd been with but Mizuki made him feel so off balance. 

Mizuki kept looking through the rough copies. Ichirou wondered if he realized the character was based on him or not, he knew he couldn't tell him the fantasies imagined for this Yaoi had all involved the two of them together in his head. " ugh I have something to confess" Mizuki's voice sounded soft and flustered Ichirou looked at him puzzled " I figured you wouldn't remember since you were drunk or something but um we did this stuff on the school roof I left you there so you wouldn't be angry with me" Mizuki was looking at his feet while he spoke " I already figured that out since there was no way I could dream such a mind blowing o****m so close to the real thing" Ichirou teased and moved in to give Mizuki a soft kiss since Mizuki had been so honest he decided he'd be honest too " you know except the first couple of pages almost the whole thing was written while I fantasized about being with you that character Kazuki is actually Mizuki" Ichirou was holding Mizuki by the chin so he had no where to look but into his face. He watched the play of emotions sweep across his face and kissed him deeply " I don't want you to go home tonight actually I don't want you under the same roof as Miho at all " in his honesty Ichirou had dropped his mask and all his emotions were displayed. Before Mizuki he had never been known to be a possessive or jealous guy it was something that bothered many girls and yet Mizuki could tell Ichirou wanted him all for himself it pleased him to know deep inside Ichirou really did care for him even if he never said so.

"Damn girl and her brother fetish" Ichirou muttered standing up abruptly " I know how about you move in here" he said brightly sitting back down looking into Mizuki's eyes "I spend most of my time here and not at home since we have some family drama in my house I mainly go to work at the shop which I have been slowly cutting back on , how about we make this our private haven our very own secret garden" Ichirou's eyes sparkled as he spoke the last bit Mizuki didn't know how to answer " I I guess I could ask my parents" Mizuki spoke in a meek tone Ichirou knew he was insecure and didn't push things instead he smiled at him " alright well we can wait awhile and for now you can just sleep over everyday and speaking of bed how about we head to mine" he smiled and winked at Mizuki who blushed but nodded " yes lets get to bed - " before he could finish answering Ichirou he had been swept up into his arms " next stop Paradise" Ichirou joked as he carried Mizuki to his room Mizuki snuggled close to Ichirou "I'm already there" Mizuki murmured kissing Ichirou passionately. "Let's make love Mizuki I love you let me show how much I love and want you" with those words Ichirou loved Mizuki's body with a passion he never felt before him and would never feel after him.

Afterwards Mizuki was cradled in the crook of Ichirou's arm listening to Ichirou's breathing when he was startled by Ichirou's voice " I want you to come meet my family tomorrow Mizuki I'd like to introduce you as more than a friend if you'll let me" Mizuki caught his voice and choked on a sob he hadn't meant to cry but he felt so happy. " Mizuki, what's wrong, why are you crying? did I say something wrong?" Ichirou was panicking over a crying Mizuki who didn't speak but clung to him " I really love you Ichirou, are you really fine with a guy like me? I know you have your choice of women do you really want to be tied down to a younger guy like me" Mizuki was so insecure for once Ichirou knew what it felt like to care more about someone else's heart more than his own " I love you Mizuki , come meet my family move in with me and be the only person I love in my life. I'll love you til death do us part I'll cherish you and be loyal to you" Ichirou was pressing Mizuki's hand against his chest on top of his heart while looking into his eyes he continued speaking "I'm a definite train wreck, you'll get tired of me I'm sure but please give a jerk like me a chance to make you happy oh and you aren't that much younger then me there's only a year between us" Mizuki laughed and wrapped his arms around Ichirou's neck kissing him he rolled on top him " we better seal that deal then, you ready for another round Ichi" Mizuki laughed as Ichirou growled and flipped him over " you know I'm always ready for you Mizuki" that signaled the beginning of their full night of love making as a couple.
