Damien Inzaghi

Natasha's POV I ran out the building, not bothering to stop even for a second. The cold night air hit my face, but I barely felt it. My heels pounded against the floor, each step even faster than the other. Panic filled my mind. My breath came in sharp gasps, my heart hammering so hard it drowned out everything else. Werewolves are real? No, it couldn't be. It wasn’t possible. It couldn’t be. Werewolves were myths, something from old legends and horror movies. But I had seen their faces. The way they looked at me. The way he had looked at me. I knew since when I stepped into that building that there was something off. I shouldn’t have come here. I shouldn’t have taken that damn card. That man. The one who had handed it to me last night. He had told me it was an exclusive gathering, that I can get a chance at an internship. I should have ignored him. I should have walked away. My legs burned, but I pushed forward, my mind racing faster than my body. What would happen if they caught me? Would they let me go? Could they let me go, now that I knew the truth? No. I couldn’t think about that. I just had to keep running. Keep moving. Find a way out of this nightmare. Suddenly, heard the low growl of an engine. From a distance I spotted a black BMW, it's windows tinted. I glanced at it briefly, my pulse quickening with a twinge of unease, something just didn't feel right. As I passed, the car inched forward, keeping pace with me. My heart pounded as I tightened my grip on my bag and quickened my steps, trying to ignore the sinking feeling in my stomach. What's happening! Suddenly, the car accelerated, speeding past me before screeching to a halt a few yards ahead. “Oh no.” Suddenly panic surged through me, my breath hitched as the driver’s side door opened, and two men emerged from it and charged towards me at once. “Hey!” I shouted, my voice trembling as I turned to run. But they were faster. The man, grabbed my left arm, but I continued to struggle, but it was no use. "Let go of me!" I shouted, kicking and twisting, but the other man grabbed my other arm, pinning me between them. The man holding me growled, “Shut up,” as they dragged me toward the car. I clawed at his arm, my long and sharp nails digging into his skin, but he didn’t flinch. The other man opened the car’s back door, and together they forced me inside. I fought with every ounce of strength I had, but the door slammed shut, and the engine roared to life. The last thing I saw was my purse scattered on the floor before everything went black. . “Hey lady wake up” my eyes flung open when I felt someone touch my skin. They carried me out of the car and I was standing in front of a gigantic edifice. My body was shaking like a leaf. Who were this people? Were they werewolves too? What was next for me? Was this my end? I wondered. “where am I ?” I asked to no one in particular. “We are at the boss's mansion” One of them answered. I didn't bother to check his face. Boss? It could be the ma.. werewolf, from the party earlier? Just then my heart began beating rapidly. Glancing around the environment, there was not a single building in sight. His house was isolated. They could kill me, and it'll be like nothing ever happened. To them, I'll be nothing more than a loose thread to tie up. They escorted me into the house and my eyes went wide in shock. It felt like I had just stepped into a palace. The place I was in had white and gold cushions. The ceilings were high rise and the Chandler was Gold in color. It illuminated the whole place as the floor was like a mirror. I could literally see myself. As I sat waiting, the air conditioning made me dry and light but my heart wasn’t same. I had been tied and gagged and taken to a place I know nothing about. Few minutes later, these men came out from a room. “It's time to meet the boss.” One of them said, his voice cold. A chill ran down my spine as they held me up and took me into a room. This time it was darker than the one I had been in. There was only a flickering bulb hung above me. “Natasha Gill.” I heard a familiar voice. His tone very menacing. Suddenly, the man from the gathering earlier stepped front and out of the shadows. He wore a sick grin on his face, the type he had when he flirted with me earlier. “Please don't kill me. Please!” I pleaded, my voice strained. “Oh but you see I can't do that. You know our secret already, if I let you leave then you can become a real problem for us.” He spoke in a soft yet dangerous tone. “I promise I won't… I won't tell anyone.” “I can't believe that unfortunately. So here's how it's going to be. I'm going to ask this one more time.. Will you agree to be my Luna?“ He asked, his tone even more deadly. My heart stopped beating but somehow how I was breathing. It felt like I had just been handed my life sentence. For the next 30 seconds, I sat immobile but the moment I got my self. I didn't know werewolves existed until a few hours ago, but I knew from myths that a Luna was as good as a wife to a werewolf. “Natasha, remember you don’t have to worry about the debt, or living in that apartment. You could get the life you always wanted. All you need to do is marry me, or… You could say no, and I'll kill you right here and no one would care..” If I say no, I'm dead, and if I agree I'll be as good as a prisoner. Either way, things were never going to be the same again. “Okay. I’ll do it” I said in a small voice. “Good, because the mating ceremony is tomorrow, an hour to midnight.” he said before walking out, but before leaving the room he suddenly stopped again. “Oh how rude of me, I haven't introduced myself to my future Luna. It's Damien Inzaghi, Alpha of the Moon Raiders pack!”
