The Alpha, His Luna, and Her Rose

Chapter 7

It didn’t take us too long to get to the hospital and to be honest I barely remember the drive! I just kept holding her in my arms while Xavier speed down the road!

"I'm here! Xavier here! Your safe now, beautiful rose!" I say calming as a brush a piece of her curly black hair out of her face! I don't know if she can hear me right now or not, but I bent down and kiss her forehead!

Xavier can feel my worries, because he grabbed my hand and held it.

"Esme! She is going to be alright! I mind link Dr. Winton! He’s got the staff on hand! Our rose will be okay!" He says comforting! "I felt what you felt when you saw her Esme! I felt the connection! When I ran to her I felt it too! She may not be my mate, but I feel a bond with her too! I felt the love, the need for protection!"

I blinked in astonishment as I hear his words! "Our rose!" "A bond!" Does that mean...

Before we could say anymore we pull up to the hospital! Dr Winton and his staff come running out! I feel Xavier lift her off of me. I watch as he kisses her forehead while setting her on the examine cart! "You will be okay our rose!" I hear him comfort her "I wouldn’t let anyone but the best touch what’s mine and my Luna's!"

Xavier turns towards me and smiles! Allowing a small amount of relief to come across my face.

"We will have news soon! While you wait feel free to get cleaned up in my personal office! I'll have some clothes brought up from the gift shop for you!" Dr Winton says as one of his nurses hands him a blanket and his office keys!

"Thank you Doctor!" Xavier says as I see them leave with my rose! My wolf whimpers at the site of her body! I see Xavier hand reach in for me, but I cannot move!

My body, finally coming to the terms of what just happened, begins to shake! I feel tears flow in my eyes!! I can’t control myself anymore! I gasp for air trying my best to calm down, but it is no use!

At that time, I feel Xavier's hands as he pulls me out of the car. He wraps the blanket around me and lifts me up into his arms!

"Don't worry my Darling!" He says soothing my rapid breathing! "Everything is going to be alright now! I have you! We have our rose! And look the sun is just rising!"

He's holds me close to his chest and we walk into the hospital! All I see are signs passing fast on the ceiling overhead. I know Xavier walking at a decent pace.  He knows I wouldn't want people to see me covered in blood! I hear a door knob and look up to see we are at the Dr. office!

We step inside the office. Xavier sets me down as I look around! It's a typical Dr office. There is a desk and bookshelves! There a big coach on the other end of the room. Next to the coach is the door to the bathroom! I see a small shower in there! Thank God! I can wash this evil man’s blood off me!

Oh my GOD! The evil man! We left his body there on the beach!

"Xavier...." I say only to be interrupted as he picks me up and carries me into the bathroom!

"Xavier" I say again "the evil man... His body is still..."

"Don’t worry about it!" He says calmly! "You need to shower and we need to be here for our rose!"

"But what..."

"Esme I said not to worry!" He interrupts in his alpha tone! He takes a breath as he knows he startled me!

In a calmer voice he said "I mind link and sent Cole out to get his body and get rid of it!"

"No" I interrupt causing Xavier to glare at me confused. I look down 

"I want his heart cut out of his chest first! Please my Alpha!"

Xavier smiles at me!

"It shall be done my Luna!! But first I need you to clean! I can’t handle another man’s scent on you! I need your lavender scent again! I almost lost it when I saw you transformed... I..."

I interrupt him with a kiss!

"Let’s not think of that right now! Your right I need to shower! I need his scent gone!"

Xavier sets me down as I head into the bathroom.

I turn on the shower when I hear a knock on the door! Xavier answers it. I hear him say thank you as I begin to take off the bloody jacket Xavier threw at me after my clothes ripped from transforming. I climbed into the shower as Xavier closed the door!

The warm water feels soothing on my skin as I feel the evil man’s blood finally leaving me skin! I feel my wolf smile in delight as his scent washes down the drain!

Xavier POV

I close the door, as I hear the shower running! I let out a long sniff into the air! I am starting to smell my mate more!

"Thank God!" My wolf Screams!

My wolf was about to lose it if the man’s smell was on her any longer! My wolf growls at the memory!

I change my clothes into the sweat pants and T-shirt the Dr. Provided! I'll have to have Cole run me some clothes I thought!

Oh s**t Cole!

My promise to Esme!

"Cole!" I mind link him quickly. Cole is my second in command. The Beta of the pack! He's proven his loyalty 1000 times over! He been like my brother since we were young!

"Yes Alpha!" Cole answer quickly "is everything alright!?"

"Update me!"

"We are at the beach. I'm making my way to the asshole now." Cole updates

"Luna has a request! One I know you’ll be happy to fulfill!”

“Yes Alpha, you know anything for my Luna!” Cole states clearly

“Luna wants his heart ripped out of his chest!" I smirk

"With pleasure! I hear Cole answer back! "What shall I do with the rest of him!?"

"I'll let your imagination run with that one!" I say to Cole "I also need better clothes brought to the hospital for Luna and myself!"

"HOSPITAL!” I hear Cole yell in my mind “Why is everything okay!? Is Luna hurt! Do I need to send the pack!?" Cole screams sounding concerned. Cole loyalty really shine through during times like this! I know he would die for My Luna too! Maybe because she saved his mate once or maybe because he sees how better of a leader I truly am with her! Either way everyone knows where his loyalty lies.

"Yes everything is okay, our Luna is fine! She... She rescued someone and we are here making sure she is okay." My thoughts trail off as I see Esme emerge from the bathroom! Her scent intoxicating my noise! "I’ll fill you in later!"I saw cutting Cole off! I turn my attention to Esmeralda.

"How are you feeling my Luna?" I say as my eye scan her body! There isn’t a scratch on her! My wolf sighs in relief!

"I'm fine! Just worried!" She says looking towards the door!

"Our rose will be okay. I know you feel it! Come, get dress and rest! She is in the best hands around right now! Dr. Winton said he would mind-link when she was in recovery!"

 I hand her the clothes and sit on the couch. She changes and climbs onto my lap.

"Will you hold me?" She says so sweetly looking up at me, curling up into my lap!

"Of course! Why would I ever say no to touching you!" A small giggle escapes my mouth! I pull Esme close and kiss her forehead! She smiles up at me before laying her head on my chest!

"She smiling" my wolf smiled happily in my head! "She is actually smiling! God I missed her smile!"

I stroked her hair for a few minutes, before she falls asleep! I cant stop staring at her smile. The smell of her lavender engulfs me! My body feel relaxed, but something seems to be missing!

Our rose! My wolf whimpers.
