The Alpha, His Luna, and Her Rose

Chapter 9

Xavier POV

My wolf inside is raging! I have questions and my wolf wants answers! I pull my mates in close!

"My MATES!" I hear my wolf growl! "MINE! No one will hurt them!"

"Is there anything else Doctor!?" I look at him with a firm look letting him know to hurry the f**k up!

"No Alpha that is all!" Dr. Winton says to me

"Your dismissed for now Doctor. I will call for you if we have any questions!" I wave the Dr. away.

He just nods and walks away.

When the door closes I hear Amelia let out a small cry!

I look down and see Esmeralda holding her close. I hug them both tight!

“No... Baby… Ever!” I hear Amelia say

“Don’t say that darling!?” I hear Esmeralda say! “They didn’t say it was permanent!!”

“What if I…?” I see Amelia look down at her stomach!

“Nothing will ever change how we feel for you! We will always be here to help you through it all! You are a strong woman Amelia!” I kiss her forehead and she settles into my body more!

“And if you want a baby my love! We will do whatever it takes to make that happen!!” Esme continues!!

“If we have to travel to special doctors we will!! Even if we have to tie down Xavier and have our way with him for days on end!! We will do it!!”

Our rose giggles some!

I lean a little closer! “Or my loves,” he says looking at us both, “I can just tie you two down and have my way with the two of you! I think I like that idea better!”

I see them both blush, but try to hide it. My wolf starts to feel a little frisky!

“Then it is settled!” I smirk “as soon as you are healed,” I kiss Amelia “You and you” I turn towards Esme, grab her by the throat and pull her closer to me and kiss her, “will be mine to play with! Until then, my loves, let’s get some sleep!”

I hear Esme and Amelia both yawn as they settled into my chest!!

My wolf began to howl in delight! The smell of the lavender and roses filled my nose!! I closed my eyes for a second and felt my body and mind just relax to their smells!! This is Heaven!!

I open my eyes to see Amelia and Esme both had fallen asleep!

Earlier I mind link Cole to meet me here! We had some issues to address, plus I have been away from the pack for too long! Cole mind linked me that he was here. I mind link back the room, before turning and looking at the clock! It was 10! Esme and Amelia were still asleep as I slowly snuck out from under them! They both moved some, but settled after a few seconds. Suddenly, I sense someone in the room. I smirk.

"Alpha..." Cole says appearing in the door way!

“Cut the crap Cole” I say! “No one is here!”

Cole let’s out a deep sigh, “Xavier what the f**k is going on. It’s been 2 days since you or Luna have been at the palace! Everyone keeps asking me, freaking out worrying!! Its f*****g annoying dude!! I keep telling them what you say, but f**k! Can you fill me the f**k in please!”

I laugh its nice when Cole isn’t so formal around me! He’s been my best friend for years! It makes it feel less like a business deal!

“I'm glad to see I’m missed. Great use of the word f**k too!” I laugh, but then got a serious look on my face… “Well to put it bluntly! Your Luna, my mate, our Esmeralda…” I pause looking over at the bed, “found a mate!”

Cole laughs until he sees the seriousness in my face looking back at him!! He turns and looks at the bed!! His mouth drops open to the site of his Luna in bed with another woman!!

“Wait....Xavier... A mate like a bond and everything!” Cole looked puzzled

“Yes,” I answered

“How!?” Cole’s looked even more confused! “What…?”

I walk over to my mates and gently cover them with a blanket. I kiss them both. “Let’s go get some coffee and I'll explain,” I say as I lead Cole out of the room. I pause and turn towards Cole, “But before I do there is a task I need you to do for me later! I need to know everything about her tribe! I say pointing to Amelia!”

“Why Alpha!?” Cole asked concerned

“I have a feeling I will be going to war soon!” I look over at Amelia lying with my Luna in bed! It’s been a while since I’ve seen my love sleep so peacefully! It brings a since of joy seeing these two beautiful soles together! I feel my heart overflow with love! I walk back over to them and place one more kiss on their foreheads before walking back out the door! I turn and look one last time, before closing the door to the room.

"Rest my loves!" I hear my wolf purr!

We go down to the cafeteria to get some coffee and a few other treats! I tell Cole all about what happened. He looked like a lost puppy most of the time! On the way back to the room, Cole decided a game of 20 questions was in order. I answer the questions as best I could... But I hated that I was even left with more questions than answers!

My wolf started to growl in frustration!

Cole could tell I was troubled and becoming furious! He put his hand on my shoulder.

"Sorry man..." He giggled "you know me! Always worried always with questions!"

I smirk some, but quickly my smirk turns to serious. I look ahead, thinking about all that has happened! About my Luna! About her rose! Our Rose! My Mates. My thoughts are disrupted by Cole waving his hand in my face. I turn back to him.

"In all honesty though Xavier!" His voice getting serious, "I already know she means a lot to you! Like if you ever had to choose between her and Luna, I know you would choose our Luna!"

“Why do you say that Cole…?” I ask

"I saw it in your eyes when you talking about her when we were walking to get coffee!” Cole continues, “I felt the connection between you two upstairs right before we exited the room. It’s like they have already brought out a different you! So I know if it came between me and her...." He paused for minute and smirked. "I know you would choose her in a heartbeat!”

My mouth drops open a little for a second before I smirk as well!

"You can always read my mind can’t you Cole! Even when I don’t f*****g want you to!?" I joke with him!

"Nah! I've just known you for years! You’re my brother! Maybe not by birth, but by bond!" He nudges my shoulder some! "Besides I don’t want to know what goes on in that nasty mind of yours! Especially with 2 women now! Are you sure you aren’t cursed!?"

I laugh but my laugh quickly turns to seriousness when I feel something wrong.

Cole looks around.

“Something wrong?” he asks.

“Yes! I feel something is wrong!”

“From upstairs?” Cole questioned

“Yes! With MY mates!” My eyes turn red!! I start running to down the hall! I pass the elevators!

“The elevator will be to slow!” I say to myself

“The stairs it is” my wolf yells!

As I enter the stairs I waste no time! I just start leaping from railing to railing!! I hear Cole yell after me, but I cannot make out what he is saying! He already sounds so distant! All I know is that I must get to my Luna and my Rose!!

I reach our floor within seconds and burst through the doors.

I’ve never felt so scared! What happened!? Where's my mates!? I turn and see Esmeralda!

“My Luna!” My wolf sighs! But, then I see she has blood on her!

“What the f**k happened!” My wolf and I scream

I grab her into my arms before the nurses could stop me!

“Are you alright? What the f**k happened!? Where is our rose!? Where were the guards? Are you alright? Are you hurt my Luna? Is our rose ok!? I swear I am going to f*****g kill someone if they didn’t do their…” I’m interrupted with a kiss!

Emse pulled away with a little giggle.

“I’m fine!” She smiles at me sweetly! “The guards did exactly what they were supposed to do! So no need to kill anyone! One guard got the Doctor. The other stayed and guarded us. Our rose apparently had to go to the bathroom and stood to fast! She fell over, heaving in pain and grabbed her stomach! The doctor came in, but he couldn’t get her to lay flat so he could give her a shot! She couldn’t lay out without extreme pain! I didn’t know what else to do, so I jumped on her and pinned her down! The only way I could think to stop her from moving was to mark her! So I sank my teeth in! She thrashed around for a seconds, which is when I got covered in blood, but the bite helped to calm her! After she calmed down, Dr. Winton took her back to the exam room. I had literally just walked out of the room when you grabbed me in your arms!”

My wolf howls with pride! Is this way I felt more of a bond!? Is this why I felt so much strength in me!? Is this why I got to my mates so quickly!? My mind started wondering!

My thoughts were interrupted though as Cole burst through the door! “Alpha what wrong?” he shouts

“It’s okay Cole! Stand down!” I tell him!

“f*****g Hell” I hear Cole yell as he turns back around and heads back towards the stairs! I hear him let out some choose words as he slams the doors to the staircase open!

“Is he okay!?” Esme asks

“He'll be fine,” I say lifting Esme in my arms and carrying her into the room to clean her up.

Her smell is intoxicating when I pull her in close! I feel my inner wolf is wanting to rip off her clothes! My lust for her was on fire!! I try to calm myself as I walk into the room! But it was no use! I had to have her!!

When I got into the room I set Esme on the chair and went back and closed the door. Only the smell of Lavender filled the room now!!

When I turned I saw Esme’s slender legs showing from under her dress just begging to be touched!! I couldn’t control my wolf! I leap at her instantly! Ripping off her dress! I can’t control myself! Her smell is even stronger now that she marked Amelia! I got to have her or I will die!!

"Xavier... Stop... Calm down!" I hear Esme say as she struggles under the weight of me! "Amelia! Our rose! I want to make sure she’s ok!"

My wolf doesn’t listen and keeps pawing at her!

“NO!! I DON’T WANT…” With one movement Esme pushes me off of her before she could finish her sentence. I slide across the floor a little!

My wolf gets excited! I try to calm him down but it doesn’t work! I lick my lips!

I have Amelia’s blood on me from Esme! It tastes sweet! My lust grows stronger! I feel my eyes narrow in on Esme as my blood turns warm! The hunt is on! I got to have her!

"Esmeralda my Luna! I can’t control myself! Your intoxicating me! I must have you right now!" I leap from the ground at her!

“I need her! I must have her! She must be mine!” My wolf cries out!

"Xavier I said no!" She says pushing me back on more time before she stands up and moves to the other side of the room! “WHAT THE f**k IS WRONG WITH YOU!! I SAID NO!! I DON’T WANT YOU…”

My heart breaks!! All My wolf hears is I don’t want you!! It rings in my ear!! I let out a howl as I hear my wolf start whimpering!

“Why is she rejecting us!? She is picking Amelia over me!! I knew it!! I am losing her!!” My inner wolf is screaming!!  I feel something forming in my eye! Is it a tear!? I never cry!!

“f**k” I scream punching the wall!
