I took a deep breath.
I never thought that I will be standing here again at Newark Liberty International Airport. Years ago, I swore that I will never come back here, but look where I am. I am now standing in the arrival area, waiting for the girls to pick me up.
“Oh my gee!! Look it’s her!” I heard someone squealed.
“Calli!” several voices called me in unison.
My head snapped to where the noise is coming from.
And to my delight, my friends are there, looking so excited and happy to see me.
They rushed towards me as they squeezed me into a hug and gave me kisses.
“Oh my goodness Cali! Look at you! Motherhood suits you! You look so much better! I mean you were gorgeous before but now you look.. I don’t know how to describe it. Radiant? Blooming?” Polly said.
