Lizette's words got Lewis frightened as he cuddled beside her with a beating heart.
The next day
"get up angel aunt Grace got a surprise for you" liz(short for Lizette, I'll use it more often than the original name) said to Linn. "momma its still early, I don't wanna wake up" Linn said covering herself more and turning to the other side.
"but Grace got flight tickets for the holidays, just you and her. Well since you don't want to go I'll go in your steed" she said pretending to go out. Linn sprang up from the covers like waking up from a nightmare.
"flight tickets? To Disneyland?" she squealed tugging at her mothers robe. Liz smiled picking the little one up.
"we will find out from aunt Grace after taking your bath and packing all your necessities" she said taking Linn towards the bathroom.
"can't wait" Linn shouted happily.
"aunt Grace" Linn shouted happily running towards Grace, who scooped her up.
"what's up big girl, I see your already dressed up huh. Ready for your big day?" she asked with a smile.
"yes, momma said you were gonna tell me where we going to" she said with a giggle.
"its a surprise" Grace whispered with a wink.
"I love surprises" Linn whispered back.
"I know"Grace replied.
"what are you two witches talking about? should I be scared?" Lewis said bringing out their boxes with the help of the butler.
"not gonna tell you" they replied.
"well I guess I ain't someone's favorite anymore just because they are traveling" he said staring at Linn. She got down from Grace and ran towards her father as he was shedding crocodile tears.
"don't bother daddy its just Disneyland you can come visit or wherever I'm being taking to...and don't stay too much at the office momma won't fire you she promised me" she said wiping his tears and Liz came out holding Linn's backpack and walked towards Grace.
"so where are you guys going to now, you are taking an actual flight" Liz whispered when she got to Grace.
"I'll make the little one happy first, we'll visit all the Disneylands for the early years , I can't stop her from enjoying her childhood, I'm not that mean. You'll know the rest when the time's ripe" Grace replied
"I didn't even get to say anything in her speech, I'm the mother here" Liz whispered under her breath as they walked towards the car.
Linn got down from her father and walked towards her mother. Liz stooped down to her height.
"I'm gonna miss you princess" she said kissing her forehead "take of yourself and aunt Grace to okay?"
"okay"
"pinkie promise?"
"pinkie promise" she replied smiling as she picked her mom on the cheeks before skipping towards the car, turned and waved at her parents before entering the car, which later drove off.
Liz and Lewis turned and walked towards the garage. Each getting into his car and driving off to their work side.
