Jax’s Pov
“Jax?” Lila calls from the other side.
“I’ll be out in a minute Lila,” I tell her.
“Lila?” I hear Adyson’s voice. I quickly shoot up and open the bathroom door to see Adyson standing before me.
I rub my eyes and when I open them again she is gone. There is no one is my room. My bedding is completely straight like it was when I left this morning.
Did I just imagine that whole thing?
‘Echo?’
Echo yawns in my head and I can tell that he is trying to focus.
‘What?’
‘Echo, what just happened?’
There is a silence before he answers.
‘I just had a nap? Why?’
This is not good, something is wrong.
