The sound of the clock ticking has me on edge. Tik tok, tik tok, tik tok. They feel like the longest seconds of my life as I ponder my decision. I have been pacing my room all night considering my options. My palms are sweating as I clench and unclench my fists over and over. If I go with Adysons parents to see her then Lila will reject me.
