Adyson’s Pov
I have been so nervous for my parents arrival, I cannot stop pacing the living room whilst chewing on my finger nail. Joey is sitting on the sofa with a worried expression. He has tried to calm me and distract me but neither has worked. He’s now resolved to watching me pace the living room.
‘It is only our parents Adyson, relax’
‘I know Spartan, but what if they are disappointed in me’
‘Why on earth would they be disappointed in you?’
‘For making all the wrong decisions’
I see Joey lose focus and know he is mind linking someone.
“They just crossed the threshold to the pack lands,” he informs me and stands. He holds his hand out for me and I take it. As we stand by the door awaiting the car to pull up I hold tighter onto Joey’s hand.
