“This way Alpha,” a nurse gestures for me to follow her. She scurries down the hall and into a side room. She holds the door open for me and I burst through only to stop dead in my tracks. The perfect scene before me. Adyson is cuddling our baby in her arms, a peaceful smile spread on her face. She looks up at my intrusion and she stiffens. I internally sigh at her reaction.
