Chapter 24  “Anna!” She looked up at that sharp cut-throat voice, spoken almost as if her name was a curse. Her tall-handsome husband standing in a not so neat suit and ruffled hair and almost fell off her pencil heels in the process. ‘huh!’ what was this weird relation between this bastard of a man and ‘her falling tendency?’ because she had fallen the first time she had seen him and she had only continued to fall deeper every time they met thereafter. Only the realization had hit her later, when they were watching a movie cuddled up on a narrow sofa in her old one bedroom apartment. She had looked at that handsome face and wondered what it would feel like if he left her. If he got up on his fancy private jet one day and flew off to Greece and never retuned, how will her life look
