Chapter 22 I felt a rumbling under my feet and realized that Adam had turned on the engines. If only I knew how good of a boatman he was. Or how badly he wanted to get us all to safety. "Isn't there something more we can do besides wait down here?" Jessica asked, hugging herself tightly. I saw that she and Michelle both had found life vests somewhere on the yacht and put them on over their oilskins. But as cold as the water was, staying afloat wasn't going to be enough to keep any of us alive. "I can try to help," I said, pulling off my jacket before sitting down in the chair that Adam had just left. I spun around to face the desk and looked up at the map.
