Chapter 23 "You can't do this," Adam said as I finally turned my attention back to him. He still looked like he might vomit at any moment. Some of that was the alcohol, but some of it was raw fear. I mean, most people would be frightened with four large, heavily armed warrior-types hovering around them menacingly.
