It was 5 P.M, and the many carriages had already begun pulling up to the scene for the Grand Capulet Ball!
The Carriage lines stretched out for as far as the eye could see, covering the entire front opening of the Massive Capulet estate.
Carriages in all shapes and sizes, all colors and designs, majestically red in, with their seals firmly marked on their carriages.
And of course, as one would expect, several girls within their carriages kept giggling about the latest gossip around the city too.
From time to time, they would lift the Carriage curtains and peek out, glancing at the young men who chose to ride their horses straight into the estate instead.
More importantly, many of the ladies were peeling at the famous youngsters riding in while escorting their superior's in the carriages.
"Judith! Judith! Look over yonder! Isn't that Mage Kian?"
"Where? Where? Can you move your big head aside and let me take a peek?... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh~... I feel as though I will faint from just the very sight of his handsomeness."
"Only fainting? My dear, just looking at him has made my belly pregnant with his child!"
"Sisters! Look! It's William Burkan's, the 3rd commander of the Silver Foxes! I heard that he took down hundreds of these monsters all by himself, showing just how strong he is!" One of the ladies said while fanning herself with her feathered fan.
Goddess above! The men who kept bypassing their carriages were just too visually stunning, alright?
Many of these ladies felt mighty grateful that the Capulet's decided to hold a ball!
Why? How else would they be able to meet such dashing people up close?
Bubuum! Bubuum!
The ladies felt their hearts drummed uncontrollably while struggling to control their urge of just screaming out and shamelessly reaching out to grab these people in broad daylight.
Just looking at the scene made their eyes twinkle with stars.
But that wasn't all.
At this very moment, they forgot their manners and started drooling at the sight of these men like crazy.
Too handsome! Took handsome! Too handsome!
The Capulet's were a major power force within the empire.
So of course, apart from Nobles, there were uncountable mages, battle warriors, battle healers, Holy Light Emissaries and even a few Royal members too.
So one could imagine just how many people were at the scene.
To women who had dreamed of meeting their night in shiny armor, this was a big opportunity that couldn't be missed!
Likewise, to men who also wanted to look for potential wives, this was also a grand opportunity for them too.
After all, within the mages, battle warriors, battle healers and even those from the Holy Light Church, there was no doubt an accountable number of women mixed in the group.
After all, this world was created by the Goddess.
So it would be stupid to look down on them.
.
Anyway, there were a large number of men also looking for marriage partners from the group of nobles or fighters too.
And unlike the Romeo and Juliet story, even though the Capulet's hated the Montague's they still had to invite them over.
That's right. The ball might look like it only concerned the Capulet's.
But since they were one of the empire's main fighting forces, the matter was secretly a political move as well.
At present, the Capulets and Montagues were on the same level, with one fighting to get promoted fast.
Giving the world a nasty and rude image of themselves wasn't what either side wanted.
So they had to smile on the surface while poking knives at each other behind closed doors.
And so, the Montagues were invited openly.
It was just that they would be watched diligently, lest they try to pull a fast one on the Capulet's or frame them in any way.
Like so, the massive crowd of people stormed the estate in style. We mages flew above, while others chose to travel on the ground instead.
And sure enough, as time passed by, the royal Prince's soon arrived, displaying the magnificent Royal carriages held up by several rare and hard-to-breed Pegasus.
That is, at the front and back of their carriages, one could find several magician Pegasus flying above while carrying the carriages.
And soon, the gallant horses that were 3 times the size of regular horses, calmly landed at the designated space, showing off their impressive wings for all to see.
The scene was very eye-catching, making many wish they could have or even ride such beautiful creatures just once in their lives.
Oh... How great it was to be royalty.
.
~Swish!
In a flash, the guards and mages that had been flying alongside the royal carriages hurriedly landed as well.
Hey hastily settled the Pegasus and opened the Grand Golden Carriage doors for the royals to step out.
At the moment, they landed far into one of the inner courtyards in a private area designated just for their arrival.
And of course, The Capulet couple were there to welcome the Prince's too.
His Majesty wouldn't make it.
So the Princes and Princesses had arrived to show just how much importance the Royals placed on the Capulets.
It should be noted that the eldest prince was similar in age to Lord Capulet.
After all, people in this world could live for 500 years.
So Lord Capulet, who was a measly 48, wasn't in this world.
Moreover, he was 48 but looked to be 18.
And only when one reaches the age of 250 would they start looking more or less like a middle-aged person.
Lord Capulet quickly saluted the royals as courtesy demanded.
"Welcome, your highnesses! Welcome to our humble home!"
"Hmmm... " The eldest Prince Escalus replied while taking off his gloves.
The 56-year-old Prince was the same one in the Romeo & Juliet story, who was a kinsman related to Paris.
He had short wavy blond brown hair, blue eyes, a very chiseled jawline and stunning features that would no doubt make countless women scream in awe.
He was typically the peace-maker between Lord's Capulet and Montague... Seeing that he was their superior in terms of Military ranks and nobility.
"Capulet! I trust you and Montague will behave?"
"_"
.
Capulet froze in place with an awkward look on his face.
But he dared not say anything rash because Escalus's aura right now was too dangerous.
"Your highness! Your highness! Don't worry. I will behave! As for that son of a Bi... Erh-Erm!.. As for Lord Montague, I cannot vouch for him."
Escalus looked at Capulet, feeling both funny and helpless after withdrawing his dangerous aura.
When?
When will the 2 put aside their differences and let go of the past?
Sigh... Forget it.
Soon, another thought quickly flooded Escalus's mind instead.
And instantly, his eyes became filled with worry.
"Capulet... Has the 19th Prince arrived yet?"
Blink. Blink.
Lord Capulet was in a daze.
Hold on. Was that troublemaker still coming after what he did the last time?
