Anthony Capulet

1138 Words
"Sister! Sister! How is my sister?" "_" Juliet heard the voice of the original owner's brother and was shocked. You know, in her memory, she did feel that it was too close to her real brother. But now, listening to the voice as well as seeing the person on the flesh made Juliet stare at him in a daze. Holy sh**. It was like seeing a ghost pop out from the dead. (°0°) Mouth opened like an i***t, drool slipping down on one end of her mouth... Anthony Capulet saw his sisters like this and became more panicked than ever. It was official. His sister was broken. But don't worry. Not in his life would he ever allow her to fall into the light.  Feeling pumped up, Anthony's entire body birthed immense energy as he quickly trapped Juliet's shoulders and shook her like a posed being. "Sister, stay away from the light, you hear me? Stay away from the light!" (-_-) Anthony, who saw Juliet's eyes roll backwards, increased his shaking ability, showing his renowned shaking skills that had been passed onto him by some nonexistent peerless master. If possible, he would also want to slap her out of it. Normally, desperate times would call for desperate measures. But as a man who had been raised never to touch a lady, talk less of touching his own sister, Anthony could only increase his shaking ability to maximum force. And while he did so from a place of love, the one who was suffering the most was Juliet. Hello? Why were people in this house so weird when dealing with the sick? Anthony stared at her worriedly: "Sister. Wake up! Wake up now, or I'll let you eat old Greeny's mutton soup." Boom! As if fed chicken soup, Juliet could only grit her teeth and focus all her energy on buying away from her clueless brother. Hey. Old Greeny's button recipe could really make even the dead pick their bones and flee for their lives. So what more of her?  Anthony saw her reaction and secretly complimented himself for being smart. If possible, he would've liked to pat himself on the back for his cleverness. The triplets and others stood at a certain distance away, allowing the Young master and little miss to have their bonding time. . Juliet looked at the 17-year-old boy who looked the same as her brother when he too was 17, and couldn't help tearing up a bit. They looked the same. Except that since people in this world could live for 500 years and hardly had any wrinkles before their middle age (250), 17 was akin to a toddler, as the skin was so firm, looking extremely good, beautiful and just around appealing. Not to mention that the world's essence and powers in this world kept them youthful as well. So even though her former brother was still handsome and eye-catching back on earth, his appearance here was something out of this world. Juliet frowned, seemingly deep in thought. Once again, she realized another aspect that was different from the book. That is... In the book, she didn't have a brother. So this setup was really getting weirder and weirder by the hour. How odd... Anthony wiped the teardrops trickling down the corners of her eyes in distress: "Sister, does it hurt?" Juliet shook her head and grabbed his hand warmly: "No, brother. I'm okay. I’m just so happy to see you, that's all. Really brother! I've missed you so much." Instantly, Anthony's entire body froze after realizing what his little sister said. She... She... She missed him? A smile bloomed on his dashing face as he now looked like a silly i***t frolicking around across a field of flowers. Bahahahahhaha! His sister missed him! His sister missed him! Sure enough. His parents were right. You know, his younger sister started being a little naughty and stubborn just a few years ago. But he didn't take it to heart. After all, who didn't get naughty while growing up? He remembered that when he was her age, he almost burnt the entire forest region at the back of their estate. That's right. The land with all its hills and territories belonged to their family. He had snuck out once in excitement after discovering his magical attribute. And needless to say, he almost caused a disaster for them all. But that wasn't the half of it. Was it the matter of him sneaking out to taverns? Or the matter of him trying to register into a guild and taking dangerous missions without permission?... Or what about the time that he accidentally got kidn*pped, and they searched for him for weeks?  His now 13-year-old little sister might not have even been aware of his doings when he was her age.  But growing up, he was 10 times worse than her. So he also knew that when it came to some things, one had to grow and change for themselves. That's why he never despised or felt impatient with his little sister. To him, he more or less understood her cries. Yes. With the current affairs now, it wasn't safe for her to go out. But what youngster doesn't like having freedom? To always be watched, never truly living their best and strictly following protocol at all times can be exhausting. He also felt a little guilty, thinking that maybe because of his k********g all those years back, his parents had become stricter than ever. And now, seeing the way his baby sister spoke and looked at himself, Anthony felt like she had changed a bit. So maybe her illness was indeed a blessing in disguise? Anthony felt happy from the bottom of his heart: "Sister. I know you've always wanted to meet new people and go out. At first, I was very much against you attending the grand ball because of the alcohol and the bad men around. What if my sister gets fooled by those scum men?... Sister, since you insisted on going the last time, I know that you want to go. So I won't be against it anymore." Juliet's eyes popped out when she heard him: "Brother I..." "No, sister. Let me finish. I know that since you can't go out, this ball is your chance to mingle and see people truly. So I won't stand in your way again. You may... No. You will attend the ball! Don't worry. Brother has your back!" Juliet felt like dying, and Anthony, who saw her tears, only thought she was crying from sheer joy. As expected. He was indeed a good brother. (^O^) Juliet inwardly cursed her luck as the miniature people in her brain quickly went to work. Dammit! Plan A failed. The mission was unsuccessful. Time for plan B.
