Chapter 29
Jake
“He’s got her!” Jake yelled as he punched the wall in the police station where they were processing more of the druggies they had caught up to.
“Stephanie?” Rocky asked.
“Yes, he’s at her house. I’m leaving.” Jake made his way out of the station and sprinted to his truck.
When he jumped inside, he suddenly realized Rocky and the rest of the pack was hot on his heels. They all climbed inside of Jake’s vehicle. Dru nodded to him, and Jake jerked the car to life and sped off. He filled them on the phone call he had received from Stephanie. He didn’t know what she did, but after he heard a thud and muffled noises, but she never got back on the phone.
