Chapter 30 Stephanie She pushed the car faster and faster out the windy road. The black Sedan behind her pushed harder as well. Her instincts told her it was him, but she kept praying she was wrong. The one time she had been out to Cecil’s she hadn’t paid much attention to the turns Jake had made. The gas tank on her stolen vehicle was full, so she knew if she could just keep the wheels moving it would buy her time. The road forked ahead, and she tried to quickly decide which way to go.
