Jake
Jake lied in bed wide awake. Stephanie was sleeping like a rock curled against his side. He kept telling himself it would be stupid to get tangled up with her since she wasn’t his mate. Then to find out she was a virgin. His whole world had exploded when he ripped through her innocence.
The craziest part of it all was that he couldn’t seem to care. Jake loved that no other man had touched her. Stephanie was his. Regardless of the mate bond, Jake knew in his soul that Stephanie was the one he was meant to be with. His heart had decided the minute he had seen her lying in the alley.
