CHAPTER 10 Messages " My lady?" Frederick turned to her. "I mean," she looked at her tall Mister-good-fucker." You've never told me about what you do. I heard something from Dan. And now..Fred." " Oh I do a lot. But believe me, I am no master." Richie chuckled. " I keep telling Fred to call me by my name, but he is an ethical man. If he's not operating by his societal etiquettes and code of conduct, it feels off to him." Fred looked sheepish as he bowed to Nora. " Forgive me, my lady." "I'm Nora. You can just call me Nora. I will feel better that way. Even though I do have some people who also choose the official mode of address" Fred looked like he would argue, but Richard said. " If you won't listen to me, then listen to her. It has to be one or the other...Or I'd force you to call me how I want you to." " Alright then. Nora. It is my immense pleasure to finally gaze upon my master's woman." He said with a cheeky grin and Nora sighed, placing a hand on her head. Richard chuckled. "Don't worry, she will get used to it" Fred looked down at his shorts. Master, what of your--" " Oh don't worry, I will be going with this." He tapped at the jean shorts. " We'll be leaving the suits here. Anything to mark my territory." His eyes dimmed as he gazed at Nora. " You have got to be kidding me. " Nora's brow creased. "I'll be back soon. Don't miss me too much." He winked, and turned, walking into the car which Fred had gone on to open for him. "Miss you? Like hell." Nora mumbled to herself, even though she knew she was blabbering. Watching him leave, left an aching sadness inside her. Damn it. She couldn't explain it. A vivid haze of big black shirt over little jean shorts moved away from her. Her heart tugged, it felt like it was constricted with chains forged with sadness. And that was why she had mumbled those words, to convince herself that she didn't care. He was just a stranger, nothing more, nothing less. He had satisfied her for a night, and had done a good job at that. Now it was time for him to go. But yet that hollowness inside her increased. Richard got in and shut the door, relaxing into the passenger seat as Fred stepped in on the driver's side and started the car. The Ferrari growled to life, low and steady. Richard didn't turn to her, didn't give her another look, as the car rolled away. She didn't know why, but that made her upset. No, she wasn't upset, she was angry. No she wasn't angry, she was mad. Like, just like that? Not even a goodbye wave? She was still here, standing on the front steps to her house, clad in a nightgown just to see him off. Her body didn't even realize the cold morning breeze that danced around her, a result of the rainfall, all because of him. 'But why are you so angry Nora? Get yourself together.' She scolded herself in her thoughts She took a deep breath, maybe that would calm her straining heart. Getting angry easily was not her thing, this reaction to a benign situation baffled her. Maybe she just needed some coffee. Or maybe she needed that warmth again, that d**k. 'Oh f**k off' She shook her head. The breeze made her gown dance at the hems as she wove her way back inside. She had entered back inside to the warmth of the house, to his scent. She went straight to where his suit still slept on her chair. She took it and inhaled it deeply, cherishing the sandalwood fragrance, recalling instantly how he had inhaled her panties. 'Oh f**k!' She dropped the suit, then picked it up again. She wasn't going to be doing any more inhaling today. If that happened, then Mr. Dildo would be put out of the vacation she had placed him on. Carefully, meticulously, she folded the clothes and stocked them away. Switching her phone on, a thought struck her, making her heart beat a tad faster. He hadn't taken her number. How was he going to reach her now? God! Crazy guy. But he could come back to her place right? He would know the way. What if he wouldn't know? What if he got lost? Wait, why exactly did that bother her? Did she want him back? He did say he would come back. And she intended to give him back his suits. Yes that was definitely it. Countless messages popped up from her phone, and she checked them, realizing they were apology messages from Dan. She sighed and scrolled past to another message. The next one was from Lisa, her best friend. * I have some information, not sure about it. Don't know if it's a good lead, but I will be heading to yours by noon.* Nora's heart flickered with little hope as she tossed her phone on the bed and headed for the showers.
