Kaida POV When we emerged from the shadows of my tent, I rushed toward the nearest bucket, emptying the contents of my stomach. I wasn’t quite sure if it was due to the nausea, teleportation, or the horror slowly settling in over McKenna’s revelation. Maybe, it was a combination of it all, deeply unsettling and unnerving me, to the point I couldn’t stop myself from shaking. This cannot be happening My fingers gripped the bucket tighter, as I stared off to the side, trying to force this nightmare to be over, because this had to be a nightmare, right?
