Sweet Yet Magical
"Okay, so when are you gonna tell him?" I sighed and looked at my friend, Vien, who asked me this question.
"Silly! Of course, never! Why are you even asking me that? You know very well that I would never, ever, confess my feelings for him," I blurted out, half-whispering, and rolled my eyes at her. She just looked at me with a face that clearly said 'what?' and fixed her hair. I followed her hands as she swept through her shiny locks and touched mine for a second. Vien is so pretty. If only I could be just like her...
I and Vien have been friends since, like, forever. We both grew up together and shared most of our childhood. But then high school came and she suddenly had this huge glow-up. I mean, Vien was already pretty even before and she just became even prettier. Compared to her, I am nothing but just your typical high-schooler. She's a well-known student on our campus, while I am just always being referred to as the girl who was always with her. I mean, at this point, I am now immune to all of it and don't mind it anymore. That's how it always goes for not-so-pretty girls like me, right?
She shook her head and grabbed my hand, "You know that thing that I told you about? The offer still stands! Let me know if you ever changed your mind," and then she ended it with a wink. I gave her, yet again, another sigh as I was already so done with her at the moment.
My gaze was torn away from her when I smelled a familiar scent. A scent that I know exactly who belongs to. There he was, Drei. Vien jokingly elbowed me and smirked, I just gave her a glare in return.
He was so handsome. A real sight for sore eyes, indeed!
"No, Vien. I will never change my mind regarding this so please don't bring this up anymore," I replied to her previous question while my gaze was still on him.
I want him to fall in love with me for what I am, not because of some crazy potion from who knows where it came from. I would never consider that as an option, never.
