Aurora Foster departed with Lune Bright. She wouldn’t go to Caldwell Elliott in a hurry as what she did in her previous life, she went silently upstairs to her room.
Aurora Foster and Caldwell Elliott would move to their villa-Calrora House after their engagement party was over. Their daily necessities were already brought over one by one two days ago.
Anything Aurora Foster needed had already been brought to the villa for her convenience.
Dear Caldwell Elliott, as I already promised you to be obedient in the engagement party and be your most beautiful fiancé, how can I allow someone else to destroy our engagement?
Even Aurora Foster slightly closed her eyes, but the light in her eyes couldn’t be concealed. Her firmness was showed in her beautiful eyes.
She turned away, went toward the desk and took out a golden box from the drawer of the desk.
The box was exquisite with delicate patterns carved on the surface. Aurora Foster opened it and saw a pink pouch in it. It seemed the pouch was a sachet.
This was the gift Aurora Foster prepared for Caldwell Elliott.
She checked the pouch to confirm that no one had touched the thing in it, and then went downstairs.
Walking out of the hallway, she saw Caldwell Elliott angrily walking toward her room.
It seemed that he finally had come to question her.
Aurora Foster stayed there, waiting for his approach, and then slowly enquired, “Is it time to declare the engagement?”
Caldwell Elliott looked her over from top to bottom. Aurora Foster could feel the coldness in his eyes.
“I heard that you have a gift for me?”
Aurora Foster could feel the hidden anger in the common enquiry.
She bit her mouth trying to suppress the tension in her heart and slowly nodded her head,
“Yes I am going to give it to you, then you come.”
At the same time, she took out the exquisite box and handed it over to him with a forced smile.
“Open it and see if you like it.”
The man stood there silently but suspiciously. With his cold eyes, he looked over Aurora Foster from head to toe as if he wanted to see through her and find out what she was really thinking.
“Caldwell Elliott, why don’t you open it and take a look?”
Aurora Foster pouted with dissatisfied expression on her face.
Caldwell Elliott loosened his frown, looking at her watery big eyes. Finally, he stretched out his hand, took the box and slowly opened it.
A sachet emerged before his eyes. He hesitated for a while, then took it out and smelled it.
“Open the sachet.” Aurora Foster said with a smile.
The man closed his mouth tightly. It was certain that he was still unhappy. But he followed her words and opened the pouch.
A whole bagful of love beans were in the sachet. The love beans were the common ones, which can be cooked for eating, not Coral beads.
Caldwell Elliott seemed to be having doubts and stared blankly at the love beans.
If this was the gift that Aurora Foster would give to him, what about that strand of Coral beads?
“Dear Caldwell Elliott, as I already promised you not to make a trouble today and be your most beautiful fiancé. Am I obedient? Except that, I also specially prepared a gift for you!”
“By the way, do you think I am beautiful today? Are you captivated by my beauty?”
Her sweet smile made her look tender and cordial like a neighbor girl.
Caldwell Elliott looked at the red beans in his hand, and then turned his sight to Aurora Foster.
He nodded his head, replying her with a light voice, “Beautiful.”
The voice was still low and cold, but magnetic, having the capability to stir a heart.
“Really? Then I will dress up myself beautifully for you every day. Would that be okay?”
Aurora Foster forced a smile like a girl who did something proud waiting for the praise from her parents.
Caldwell Elliotts cold heart was warmed by Aurora Fosters smile.
The ambient temperature of the room was also warmed up a little bit.
