In fact, when she rose up from death, Aurora Foster had decided to cast away her obsession toward Felix Lien. So, the conflicts caused by Felix Lien would never happen.
Although she would still try to escape from the claws of Caldwell Elliott by all means, it was clear that she did not intend to confront him directly. All in all, she was not his enemy.

"Have a good rest and don't forget the promise you’ve given tonight."
He dropped this line before turning to leave the bedroom.
Watching the man leave, Aurora Foster felt relief. Sitting in the bed, Aurora Foster thought about the future and what her next move would be. In the previous life, her elopement with Felix Lien infuriated Caldwell Elliott. Their engagement banquet was held in a special way, after announcing the engagement between Aurora Foster and Caldwell Elliott, the party ended in a hurry. The couple hadn’t even shown up in person.
The strange ceremony caused a lot of questions and misunderstands. People talked it at their leisure and made fun of it. Rumors and gossip spread everywhere like wild fire. The Elliott family became a laughingstock.
Since then, Aurora lived a hard life in the Elliott family.
She wouldn’t get herself into such trouble again.
In the study, Caldwell Elliott was busy with various trivial matters of the company.
His special assistant Dustin Moor laid a stack of papers on the table.
"Mr. Elliott, Miss Foster neither went to the airport nor has had any improper interactions with Felix Lien indeed."
Caldwell Elliott nodded and stared at the computer screen as if nothing had happened.
The scene in which he bumped into Aurora in school emerged in his mind.
He saw Aurora kicking Lune Bright into the water, crying for help, happily humming melody and pretending to be a harmless little lamb before him with his own eyes.
She seemed to have sort of changed…
Caldwell Elliott stood up and stepped to the window. He overlooked the room next door to his where the lights were still on. He was lost in thought, then, he asked,”How're the arrangements for the engagement ceremony?”
"According on your orders, everything is simple. However, it's not quite proper to keep the both of you away from the banquet. Do you really want to…”
"Follow the normal process and don't cut it short." Caldwell Elliott turned around, looking at the Dustin and said.
"You mean..."Dustin Moor appeared to be astonished, completely puzzled by Elliott’s order.
Previous orders requested him to simplify the process in case of an accident, didn’t they? Why had Mr. Elliott change his mind…
"Mr. Elliott, you know Miss. Foster well. She has been unwilling to get engaged, if she…"
"Just go ahead." Caldwell Elliott did not explain, but repeat his orders.
"Sure..." Dustin Moor hesitated for a while before leaving.
Caldwell Elliott stood at the window, brooding. The only reason he had changed his mind was Aurora’s promise. Even though the girl's words were just so unreliable, he preferred to swallow them all.
Just then, a SnapChat message arrived at his cell phone.
“Mr. Elliott, you must keep an eye on Aurora during your engagement ceremony, she is so unwilling to get engaged to you, so she is ready to poison you. Don’t risk your life.”
