Within a few minutes, a group of people overwhelmed Aurora, all of them anxious to see, not just their own grades, but Aurora’s as well. In a sense she was like a celebrity, except that nobody liked her. Now that they’d seen her grades though, many were willing to put aside their grudges in the hope that Aurora might tutor them.
“It is amazing,” Sherry Young laughed. “These people are so finicky. One minute they hate you, but once they see some use for you, suddenly it is as though you were shooting rainbows out of your ass! How do you feel about all of the attention?”
“It is not really my thing,” Aurora replied. “I would much prefer anonymity, to be honest.”
