When Caldwell joined the three women, Aurora looked up to him and wondered, “Can my mother's illness be cured?"
"I have already contacted the doctor,” Caldwell replied. “We will have to wait until she is examined before we can say anything with any certainty.”
Aurora nodded and was just about to say something when Caldwell rushed into the room. Seeing his mother, he rushed to her side and wrapped his arms around her. “Mom,” he cried as tears poured from his eyes in torrents. After a few minutes, he pulled away and looked her in the eyes. Upon seeing her lack of response, he wiped the tears from his eyes and stood back up.
While he was crying, he had been like an emotional child. Now though, he was back to his usual self; a cold machine. Aurora took his hands and said, "Harlyn, cheer up.
