Midnight Madness

You never know if or when your perfect life will be stolen from you, one moment you're happy, safe, content with the family you alway wanted then the next, someone has murderd your wife and stolen your two month old daughter. I never thought they would find us, we have been working in secret to bring down the organization. they have killed and enslaved countless of our kind all for our power's. we went into hiding living our lives like ordinary people, trying to blend in while working in secret to find out any information we can about the organization. WE WERE BETRAYED! I thought we could trust him, Scott was like a brother to me. we escaped the organization together we have killed countless organization members. He was there for the birth all 4 of my children, my 3 sons and my daughter. So when he said he had some intel on organization members setting up base in an old remote ware house I didn't even question it. I tasked him with protecting my family and took some of my best men to raid the ware house, but there was nothing there. all of a sudden an explosion went off most of us were able to use our powers to protect ourselfs but three of my men weren't so lucky. I realized that bomb had been set to kill us and we had been set up. By the time we got back to the house Nina had already been murderd. I had found her body in the bedroom her beautiful blue eyes staring lifeless at the ceiling, she had been stabbed in the heart, the knife still sticking out of her chest. I ran to the crib only to find it empty, I ran to the boy's room to find it empty as well. I ran to the safe room hidden under the house hopping to god that Nina was able to hide the children before she was murderd. only me Nina and our oldest Nate knew about the safe room. Only three people could access the safe room. Me, Nina and Nate. Knowing how to open the safe room is a big responsibility for a 7 year old but he had to know incase the organization found us, he had to know how to get himself and his siblings to safety incase his mother or I could not As I move the rug and open the door built into the floor my body starts to flood with relief when I see three pairs of eyes staring back at me Nate jumps from the little room into my arms sobbing. he's apologizing for not being able to save his mother and lilly ann. Nate was born with super hearing if he concentrates on a specific conversation he can hear it from a 10 mile radius which will eventually come in handy when spying. which means he heard it all the attack on his mother, he got out of bed and ran to our room saw the fight between Nina and scott. He said he wasn't able to get to lilly ann without scott noticing so he took his two brother's to the safe room and hid. he could hear the fight, his mothers pained cry as she was stabbed, foot steps to his and his brothers room. lilly ann crying and the conversation between scott and someone else asking if the children have been secured and scott telling him he had lilly ann but the boys disappeared. As I stand at Nina's grave mourning her with my three son's I think about her appearance her deep blue eyes, her black as coal hair, she had a smile that could light up a room always telling jokes never wanting to see people cry or upset always helping out when ever she could. and my lilly ann, oh my precious lilly ann. you were starting to look like your mother with black hair and blue eyes. will your eyes stay blue or will they turn hazel like mine? your brother's take after me in looks, with my light brown hair and hazel eyes. I MUST FIND YOU! I will get you back even if its the last thing I do! and the organization will pay. First things first I must find out who scott really is, he must have been a spy for the organization, but for how long? was he a spy when we escaped or did he betray us sometime after? all I know is I will tear him apart limb from limb. we must all go back into hiding and the boys will have to start their training sooner then expect. Please wait for me lilly ann, I don't know how long it will take but I will find you. I love you my sweet daughter, until we meet again.
