Chapter 14

We got back to the house and I was tired. Hayden had his arms around me and I was swaying my hips whilst making some food. I loved having Hayden around me, when he wasn’t there I missed his touch. I looked up at him and he pecked me on the lips.

“I love you Hayden, thank you so much for bringing me here” I tiptoed and kissed him again pulling his face down to mine. My hands were in his hair and his hands were on my waist pulling me closer to him.

He lifted me up setting me down on the counter and he stood between my legs, “You’re so beautiful” he whispered in my ear, his lips brushed against my neck and I shivered. I unbuttoned his shirt and pushed it off. I slid my hands down his chest feeling his warm skin under my hands. He kissed me again and we continued for a few minutes.

I sniffed and jumped off the counter. I switched the stove off and laughed “Guess we got distracted” We sat down to eat and Hayden was looking at me.

"So Jake's being done for fraud and he won't be bothering us anymore"

"Seriously" he nodded and squeezed my hand.

"I love you and he can't come between us now" I got up and sat on his lap.

"I love you too"

That was 6 months ago our life had only got better from there. We spent all our time together went on loads of dates got closer fell in love with each other more than the day before. We were totally in love I had spent some more time with his family and we had gone to England to see my family too.

Today was our lazy day we had been at work for days hardly had any time off we were both lying in bed eating ice cream and watching a film. "Baby, I want to take you out tomorrow for dinner. Wear something fancy ok" he kissed my temple and we lay there.

The next day I went out and brought a new dress it was a short black lace dress and heels to wear tonight, I got ready and waited for him to come home. He quickly changed and he drove us to a fancy restaurant, we had dinner and were enjoying each other's company. He got up and pulled me up to, he knelt down and I covered my mouth.

"I know you still hurt sometimes but I promise you I won't do what he did. I love you for real and I want you in my life forever. Lexi you are my everything and without you I am a mess. Please do me the hour and marry me?" he pulled out the huge rock and I was gobsmacked.

"Hayden, I love you and what happened is in the past and I will most defiantly marry you" he slid the ring on my finger and I was in awe. It was a beautiful diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds.

"It's beautiful I love it" I kissed him and he grinned.

"I had this horrible feeling like you would run" he touched my cheek and I blushed.

"I am stuck to you know, you can't ever get rid of me" he laughed and we popped some champagne. Tonight was perfect, with the man I love.
