It was my wedding day and I was scared I hadn't seen Hayden in a week.
I was dressed in a beautiful white lace dress that was a mermaid fit, it stuck to me like a glove and flared at the bottom. My parents have flown over and my dad as walking me down the aisle. I had this fear in my heart I was worried last time I was in this situation my entire world fell apart.
Mom and Anna came in and sat me down. Hayden was running late and I was scared. Anna said they got stuck in traffic but I had a feeling that something was wrong.
I waited and waited for hours and hours, the ceremony was supposed to happen at 3:30pm and it is now almost 9 at night. My makeup was ruined and my eyes were black from crying. All the guests had gone home I had gone back home with my mom and Anna had gone to her house to find out where Hayden was.
My phone rang and it was Hayden, "Hello" I sniffled.
"Hey baby" Jake's voice drifted through the phone my heart broke and my whole body was clouded with rage and mom looked over at me and I mouthed Jake.
"You dickhead, where is he" I shouted down the phone mom was ringing Anna.
"He's right here babe, how about we make a deal, you get him alive if you marry me" he sneered.
"Ok, where" I didn't even have to think I couldn't live without him. If he died because of me I would never forgive myself.
He gave me the address and I grabbed my keys, I drove down to the address and was surprised when I came across his barn that he owned he had told me about it when we were together he’d shown me pictures. I went in and saw Hayden unconscious, I ran over to him and touched his cheek. I rang mom and put my phone in my bra.
"Hey babe" Jake purred I turned around and looked at him.
"I remember you telling me about this place, your old barn in the middle of the woods you always said you would bring me here when we get married" he smiled.
"You remember" I nodded and he came near me "You also remember how it felt to touch me" he came close I felt sick I looked back at Hayden I had to save him.
"Let him go and I will marry you" he smirked.
"Fine he should be waking up soon anyway" he walked away and I untied him.
"Hayden, baby please wake up" his face was all battered and he had bruises all on his arms and face. I tapped his cheek lightly and he was in a daze after a few minutes he looked at me.
"Lexi" he mumbled,
"I have a plan just pretend to be unconscious" he dropped his head back and I got up.
"Jake" I called and he came out "He's not waking up" he came towards me and pushed me against the wall.
"Then he won't see me do this will he" he smirked.
