He smashed his lips to mine and I saw Haden get up I pulled him closer to stop him from seeing. Haden picked up the vase and crashed it in his head. He fell to the ground

"Lexi I am so sorry I left you at the Altar again" I smashed my lips to his to shut him up.

"It's ok we just need to get the hell out of here, can you run" he nodded and we bolted, we made it to the car and I started the engine. I was driving Hayden to a hospital and he rang his parents. They took him in and I was waiting outside, his parents were here and the doctor came out.

"He's fine, just some bruises and a few cut's he should be ok, however he told me to check you he wants me to make sure you're ok" I nodded at her and she took me in.

They did a check on me and I was allowed to see Hayden, "Hey" I kissed his cheek and he took my hands and pushed them away.

"Thank you for saving me" he mumbled

"You don't need to say thanks I love you I would have given my life for yours" I lifted his chin, but he looked away. "Don't" I snapped

"Don't what?" he snapped back.

"Push me away, Hayden I need you" I wined I needed him close.

"It's all my fault, I left you I hurt you I promised I wouldn't but I did I don't deserve you, just go Lexi" he grumbled, his eye's glazed over

"Are you kidding, Hayden it wasn't your fault will you just stop" my eyes welled up and I bit my lip.

"Excuse me, can I have a word please" the nurse came in and she looked between us.

"What's wrong, is he ok" I asked her.

"Yes he is fine it's you who I need to check again" I looked at her,

"What's wrong with her" Hayden spoke up.

"You shut it" I snapped at him

"Well it seems like you have traces of a drug in your system, have you taken anything come into contact with anything" I thought about it for a second and it clicked.

"Jake, when he kissed me I tasted this stuff it tasted sour, I didn't pay any notice of it" I told her.

"Well its only traces but it can have a huge impact in large doses, just drink plenty of water if you feel any different come back, also Hayden you have been discharged just relax for a bit" she left and Hayden looked at me.

"You could have" I pressed my lips to his, "You need to stop doing that" he mumbled.

"I love you, Hayden" I hugged him tight and buried my head in his neck.

"I love you to but it's still my fault all this happened"

"How?" I asked

"I was driving to the church in my car and my breaks wouldn't stop, I woke up with Jake and he was talking about you and what he was going to do to you, he beat me till I passed out and then you came. If I was just careful I could have" I silenced him again.

"What happened was going to happen, we can't change it. Listen to me I am still getting married to the man I love understand" he nodded and we went home a while later.
