Chapter 35

Dell pov

When we took a break from the meeting, I knew I needed to call Amanda. I felt something was off right away when she didn't answer the phone. I tried again, and still nothing, I needed to calm down. She was probably with LeeAnn, so I knew I needed to wait until the meeting was over. We walked toward the cells, and Xander was asking the rogue questions. Before you knew it, he was split in half. There was blood everywhere, including the walls and us. This was disgusting. I felt like my breakfast was going to come back up. When we left with the alpha of the pack, we asked if the guards could get it cleaned up. We walked out of there. Everyone turned to look at us. We just came out of the cell looking like we just came out of a murder scene.

Guys, go shower and meet us in the hall for dinner. We don't want the pack thinking we tried to kill each other. So we went up to our rooms, I wanted to call my mate. But I had rather taken a shower first, so that's what I did. I took an almost an hour long shower, getting all the blood off of me. It stunk awful. When I was done, I turned the water off and dried off. Got dressed, then grabbed my home. She better answer or I was leaving, I didn't like how I felt, and I'll keep feeling this way until she answers the phone. I even tried to mind link her. She had a block or something up. So I knew something was going on..I dialed her number, then listened to it ring. She finally answered.

“What have you been doing for you to not pick up the phone or even mindlink me to tell me you're okay.” I knew I should have let her talk. But I was pissed. She had me worried. I heard her breathing on the other side of the phone. Then she told me everything that had happened today while we were gone. We haven't even been gone for twenty-four hours when this s**t went down. So our queen is more powerful than we thought she was.

“So, who does she think the woman was? Did she see her face?”

“No, she didn't, but we know now that Greg didn't do it. Whoever that woman was. Killed her for a reason and got Xander cursed. We need to figure out something before the three years are up. She knows, Dell, she now knows he is cursed, and if she doesn't love him, then we are all up s**t creek.” Sighing, I sat back on the bed. With one hand running through my now damp hair. While I was holding the phone with the other.

“I need to tell Xander that she knows.”

“No, don't l, he wanted to be the one to tell her, and when y'all get back, he better, or she's going to be pissed.” Alright, fine. We will probably be gone for another day or two, so try and keep her company. And Amanda. Please stay out of trouble.” She was laughing at the last remark. As we hung up the phone. Oh damn. I think all h3ll is going to break when we get back home. And there is no way I will be able to stop it.

Laura pov.

The next morning I watched as the b***h of a queen trained with our warriors. I had to admit she was talented. She was pretty good at fighting.she taught them new moves and they did the same with her. I wondered how she was when she will go against me, I'm the strongest one out there. I felt my phone vibrate. Who in their right mind would be calling me at five in the morning for crying out loud. Looking at the caller id I knew who it was. I answered it. Knowing full well if I was caught then there was no way this would go through. Looking around making sure no one was in ear shot, I answered the phone..

“I thought we agreed no communication until I was queen Andrew,”

“I know we agreed. But something happened last night on my way to see you. They know Laura. They know it wasn't Greg that killed her. I'm not sure if they know it was you. But they know it wasn't him. You need to be careful until the time comes. You need to get rid of her and fast.” I listened to him shocked how in the world did they find out. I really didn't understand that at all. I wasn't even sure if he was telling the truth or not.

Andrew, how do you know they found out? What happened? I want the details and don't leave anything out.”

“I'm not really sure how it happened but it was crazy. The lady kneeled on the ground placing her hands there as well and it was played out as a movie. It was like it was happening all over again. But they couldn't see you, they only saw the back of your head but not your face. You better be lucky that they only saw that.”

“Well Andrew. You should be lucky they didn't see you. So be thankful for that. Keep me updated if you see anything else. But until then don't call unless I call you.” I hung up the phone before he could see anything else. Things just turned in a weird way. How on earth did anyone see what had happened? And who was the ones that was out in the middle of the woods at night. Don't they know that rogues are out there waiting to attack someone that ventures out. I have to figure out a way to get this voided. I need to do something with my hair. Walking to my vanity I pull out a large hair clip. It was pretty old but I really didn't care. I needed to get this off my neck anyways. Putting my hair in a messy bun I clipped it off my neck. That does feel better. I needed to get outside so I could train. I was already pretty late. Toni usually doesn't care as long as I make it there. When I got there. They were running laps.

“Well it's about time you show up. Listen Laura. If you're going to stay a warrior. You're going to need to start coming out here like the rest of us. How else will we be prepared if there was an attack? Go run laps with the rest of the girls.” What was up her @ss Tony doesn't act like this unless she was in one of her moods. Oh well. Don't take it out of me. I'm not the one that pissed in your cheerios this morning.

Tony pov

My mate had told me he would be back in two weeks he was the beta of the wolf clan pack he said he would come back to get me to make sure all my things was packed and ready to go so we could just leave. But he hasn't even called or mindlinked me, when we left that night we came back here to mate and mark each other, but I think I hurt his feelings when he realized I wasn't pure. I've had a mate before but he cheated on me and left. How was I suppose to know that I was going to get another mate, I was fine I was okay before he came around and now look at me. I was a wreck now, and now he's gone and he's not coming back. I had unpacked all my things hanging everything back up. If he didn't want me. How come he just couldn't reject me. I mean come on. I don't want to feel his betrayal if he slept with someone else.

Yeah, remember our last mate. He said he would never hurt us. But look what he did, he cheated and then left with her.” Out conversation got cut short when Laura came walking over with her hair in a messy bun. She was always late. But that stops today. When she reached me I told her she couldn't be late anymore, then go catch up with them. I knew I was harsh. But I really didn't like the girl. Ever since I moved here to the kingdom with LeeAnn. They made me head warrior. So I have been making everyone train hard. But I just couldn't.get my mind off of Justin. Sighing, I watched as they ran laps. After that, I put them to work again

“Alright guys. We're going to spar again, pick your partner and let's do this.” I just hope I know what I'm doing because soaring can be really dangerous if the two people don't like each other.
