Xander pov

I did not want to go to this stupid thing, for goodness sake all there going to do is talk about the rogue problem that's been going on, if they put up the electric fences and gates there won't be no problem with the f*****g rogues, but they want to do things the hard way, i got dressed in my black jeans and a black button up shirt, i put my hair in a ponytail not in a girlie way of course, i had to make sure i shaved around my face making it slick, i don’t know why i was trying to look good, im going to be sitting in a dark corner watching, i don't want to be noticed, i will be making my decision at the end of the night, wether the girl likes it or not, well i have to be easy with her, I need to get her to fall inlove with me and then have my pup, the last three years of my life can go very fast, and i dont want the whole kingdom to go down with me, i needed to make my decision tonight wether i wanted to or not, my wolf was growling at me, wanting me to calm my ass down, now what is his problem,

‘Alright King, what's the problem? What's wrong with you, buddy?”

“I don’t know, But i have a feeling something is going to happen tonight, something that will change our lives,” He is always saying that, but i always take his word on it, sometimes he's right on the dot, but other times he's just full of himself,

“I heard that. jackass.” i couldn't help but laugh as he talked to me, King is my best friend, I had him since i was only nine years old, he came out when one of the nannies was trying to spank me because i threw a shoe at her for calling me a spoiled brat, when she stomped near me that's when i felt my bones breaking, i screamed out in so much pain that my mother and father came running into the room thinking that the nannies was hurting me, but it wasn't her it was King making me shift, once shifted my father had to calm him down, the nannies told my father what had happened, he fired her on the spot for calling me a spoiled brat, and for making me shift early, that was the only time i shifted until i turned sixteen, everyone thinks that was my first shifting, no one else knew but me and my parents, Amanda was and Dell was waiting downstairs for me, i noticed they were holding hands,

“Well it's about time.” they laughed than we took off, it took a bit to get to the Silver moon pack, but we got there, the rest of the group was behind us, we brought some of our single members hoping they would find their mate, i'm hoping they would that way if i don't find mine, they will survive away from the kingdom. I even brought Laura, but she thought she was going to be my date for tonight, i told her she will be riding in the car with the others, not with me, so she is in two other cars probably huffing and puffing with her arms crossed over her chest, she will get over it,

Laura pov

When Xander told me to get ready everyone was going to the alpha mating ball, i was thrilled, i thought we were going together, but no such luck, I was riding in the third car with a bunch of nobodies that where talking loud and laughing way to much, half of these kids i didn't even know, but Xander did, so they must be some kind of special to want them there with him, it took a bit to get there but once we where at the gates and the guards let us inside, Xander mindlinked us,

‘Do not and i mean do not get out of the cars until i am inside i do not want anyone and i mean anyone to know i am here,” we were all stunned when he told us this, but i guess he has a reason for everything, i played with the bracelet that was on my left wrist, the charms hae magic in them, they are supposed to make Xander fall in love with me, it better work it cost me a thousand dollars for the damn thing, the witch told me it would work, i doubt it but we will see, We watched as Xander talked to the alpha of the pack, than he walked over to the building, we waited a few minutes then we all got out of the cars, this place was beautiful, the lights were shining brightly around the pack, We didn't have time to look around when the alpha of the Silver moon came to talk to us,

“Hello and welcome to the Silver Moon pack, i hope you enjoy your stay and find your mate. We have rules here, and if you follow them, everything will be okay,

number one,- do not disrespect any of the alphas,

number two - don't try to sleep with someone else's mate. If you are caught doing that, the sentence is death, no second chances,

number three - there will be no fights whats so ever,

number four - if you find your mate and wish to leave with them, you can, but you must tell your alpha first,

five- do not disrespect my pack or my family, if you are caught doing so you will be sent to the cells for a week, Now with that said, it's nice to meet you now go have your fun,” geesh this alpha is more strict than freaking Xander is, We walked toward the hall where we heard music playing, this was all set in stone until i saw a beautiful girl walking up to the grandhall with a few of her friends, i doubt Xander would like that type of girl, if i can help it he will be with me at the end of the night,
