I stared at Bella's back as she ran, stunned and aching for what she must be going through. I knew she had said Devlon was her mate, but I was still pretty scared he would hurt her. He was unpredictable like that. And mostly a very hateful person.
But.. I guess I don't really know Devlon. Or who he really was, not the good parts of him at least. Everyone had a good part, no matter how small or negligent it was, it was still there.
