When I awoke to the bright rays of the morning sun the next day, the weather quiet and atmosphere serene, with my mate in my loving embrace, I had never felt more peaceful.
It still felt surreal, the fact that I had connected to her in the most intimate way, and had finally made her completely mine. My scent now will forever be intermixed with hers just as hers would be with mine. We were in a true sense, fully mated.
When I used to think of the first time I’d mate with my mate, it’s always with the most perfect setting, in a special place deserving of her, under the stary night with the moon as audience. But when I think of yesterday evening, tho it wasn’t everything I had envisioned it couldn’t have been anything but perfect.
