It would be a lie to say I wasn't absolutely terrified of the dreadful place we were quickly encroaching upon.
Serpents the size of skyscrapers they said, don't be scared they said, it would be all right they said..but! How could I? I was scared of mere lizards with their odd limbs and scaly bodies, how would I survive being surrounded by hundreds of humongous serpents??
I wish my phone still worked so I could send Bella a quick text, making up an excuse to avoid this ordeal. If only we didn't have to go through the Serpent's Pass. Terrible, I know, but I was truly terrified of snakes and anything with zero limbs and scales.
She should've at least warned me the ordeal I would have to pass before I reached her kingdom. I would definitely chew her out if I made it through this pass
