Things have been different with Callum and I ever since the day of my near death experience. A happening I had gotten to know from the others had been by the action of him.
An action that no doubt saved my life, as had it not been for the barrier protecting me I would've been blasted to smithereens by the violent mana explosion. And if I had managed to survive the blast, just the shockwaves of it would've be more than enough to deal serious damage.
I did not blame Callum.
Even though being suffocated in that tiny enclosed space had been the worst experience of my life, something that still keeps me up with a single recall of how it had been like and had me dreading any thoughts of enclosure, I couldn't find it in me to blame him.
