The enchanted forest was everything I had imagined it to be. A mystical land filled with as much beauty as there was danger.
We had barely encroached into the forest but the amount of death we'd seen was seriously alarming. It wasn't exactly a threat to us, but it was a normal thing to just look out at the scenery just to see some predator pouncing on a prey and whisking it away.
It was so often I had wondered how the animals hadn't been endangered yet. But life moves on I guess.
During our travel, we had passed through a few small villages of the fae, where we had rested for a while before moving on. They hadn't been exactly accommodating of strangers, and the reason why we were even allowed to stay a while was because they were familiar with Nova and the others.
