Reborn

Jessy's body was burning with a strange heat. Thinking she was still in the fire and had just fainted from the pain, she didn't dare move.
But the longer she laid the there, the more she realized she wasn't in pain, just uncomfortable. She slowly opened her eyes and found that not only was there no fire but she wasn't in the basement she had been locked in for the last 4 years. She raised her head and looked around, then looked down at herself only to realize she was naked in a tub full of cold water. If she was in water, why did she feel as if her body and insides were on fire?
Before she could figure out the answer to her question, a cold and angry voice of a man came from behind her. "Have you had enough? Its time for you to get the hell out of here and I don't want to see you around me again."
Jessy was so scared that she jumped up, trembling all over. She pulled the bath towel down, wrapped it around herself and jumped out of the tub before looking back at the man who she was sharing the tub with.
His face was handsome but cold and he had a strong aura. She didn't stick around to see more and dashed out of the room. However when she made it through the door she stopped in her tracks and was stunned for a moment. Her legs were broken. How was she able to not only walk but run just now? Looking down at her body, she didn't she any scars or burn marks either. She looked around the bedroom and walked towards the mirror.
The woman in the mirror had big blue eyes, silverish blonde hair, fair skin and an innocent looking face. Jessy was horrified. "WHAT THE f**k IS GOING ON?" She screamed to herself as she touched her face and watched the woman in mirror mimic her moves.
Standing there in shock, she finally figured out what was going on. She was indeed alive and her soul most have possessed this girls body. While thinking this memories that did not belong to her flashed through her mind. The original owner of this body was a girl named Kelsey Long, who was 20 years old and still in college. The man in the bath tub was Adam Jackson. The Jackson family was the most powerful and wealthiest in all of California.
Kelsey had been pressured by her family to chase after Adam and marry him. After having a meeting with her father about Adams whereabouts tonight, Kelsey waited for Adam outside his private townhouse and immediately wrapped her body around him when he showed up.
Jessy was still feeling hot and uncomfortable and thought for a few seconds before her eyes turned cold and a sneer appeared on her face. Before Kelsey left the meeting with her father, she had drank a glass of juice that her father had given her. Turns out that her father had drugged the juice with an aphrodisiac. What her father didn't realize was that he had used too much and caused his daughter to die. "Even if he didn't mean to overdose her, how can a father drug their own daughter to have s*x with a man?" Jessy thought.
Jessy tried to sort out Kelsey's memories, along with her own and when everything started to slow down she took a deep breath, wrapped the towel tighter around herself, turned around and looked around the room. She found Kelsey's purse on the table and grabbed it before walking back to the bathroom door.
She looked at the cold man laying in the tub. "Mr. Jackson, I'm leaving. I'm sorry about my behavior in the past. I was pressured by my family, mainly my father to pursue you and I was drugged before coming here tonight. Don't worry, I will not bother you in the future and I will find a way to handle my father." Then she turned around and left. Before she closed the door she heard him shout, "Kelsey, don't let me see you again."
Jessy stopped , smiled without turning around "As you wish, Mr. Jackson." and quickly walked out, closing the door without an ounce of hesitation.
Adam had a sneer on his face but thought this woman to be a little interesting even though she was annoying.
As soon as Jessy came out of Adams room she went down the stairs and was hiding to the door but skidded to a stop when she heard a familiar name mentioned on the tv. She walked back to the sitting room and looked at the tv, who had a news anchor reporting, "Chase, the adopted son of the Moore's and husband to the astounding Jessy Moore was so sad after the death anniversary of his wife that he spent the entire day and night at the cemetery, causing himself to get sick and spend a week in the ICU . In memory of his wife and to stabilize Moore's group, Mr. Chase will be releasing a new technology at the beginning of next year. This technology is said to have been one of Jessy's favorite things to work on before her death and Chase wants to complete it in honor of her.
The TV showed a picture of Chase in a black suit, white shirt and blue tie, talking to reporters, with a soft smile on his face and beside him stood Abby in a white dress trying to look pure an innocent.
Jessy's hands clenched into fists. That technology was indeed her favorite thing to work on. Her father and her came up with the idea and had been working on it for years before Chase and Abby destroyed her life. But Chase would never know that there were others who helped her with it after her fathers death. These people were not employees but members of the secret group that she had created. She had felt something was off about her fathers death and wanted to do all new projects in secret. So what Chase has is the unfinished version of this project and doesn't know that it was completed four years ago before he locked her up.
She stared at the TV with eyes and face full of hatred, swearing that now that she has been reborn, she will take everything from Chase and Abby before killing them. With that silent promise she turned on her heel and walked out the door.
Little did Jessy know, there was a man sitting in the chair in the corner that noticed the hatred in her eyes. That man was Adams older brother, Richard Jackson. There was confusion and suspicion in Richards eyes, as he wondered why this girl would have that look on her face at the mention of Chase.
So he picked up his phone and made a call to his assistant....
