NO WORK OF FICTION is written alone. I would like to thank my beta readers, Theresa Bowers and Anna Darkes, for their valuable input in making The Framed Father a better story. In addition, Anna edited the entire manuscript, catching several narrative inconsistencies in addition to lapses in grammar and punctuation (I’ll remember “all right” instead of ‘alright’ next time).
This book is dedicated to my wife, Susan. She is my alpha reader, both my biggest fan and my severest critic. Her violent objection to a subplot in the first draft led to me removing it, to the betterment of the story. She helped me out of a narrative box canyon during the second draft, and is in large part responsible for the final shape of the book. I could not have done this without her.
